    @onlyonepinman I think you hit the nail on the head and the majority of these guys arent doing it out of some malicious intention but as you said more social awkward. Most of these guys are eloquent and quite urban but quite the skills to communicate it.

    @panzerkaput I had a similar discussion to this recently (unrelated to wargames) and I think Trolling has similar motivations to bullying (in some cases Trolling also strays into bullying). Not, you can say what you want about button or rivet counters but they’re probably not bullies. As unwanted as their opinions may be, some of them probably think they’re being helpful whilst others are probably unable to understand why anyone would be into “their hobby” and not have the same motivation.  I generally try to live by Hanlon’s razor (amongst others): Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.
