Does anybody know perchance if you need to book train tickets in advance, like in the UK?

You can but I doubt if you would need to. If you were traveling from Dublin you would definitely have to

In fact the only tickets you buy in advance are commuter type tickets

I didn’t need to do that at my previous bootcamp.

First a long busride (buy your ticket at the driver, I think 7,50 ?) from Belfast Intl to the station.
I bought a paper ticket at the station. I’ll have to check my notes for the cost.

All the travel info for that is in the ‘welcome package’ download.

@torros wont be far off that, but by time I’ve had leisurely breakfast, etc wont be that bad a wait. Cant book in Hotel till 2ish anyway so would have to find somewhere to blob.

Got to remember to go through paints for trip, Know I’ve got a couple of Vallejo Field Grey I’ve had for years. Spotted a couple of panzer colors that are close, I know I have a range of Army painter flesh tones, then it will be a couple of basics and washs of the lads at Beast on weekend.

So we should get some images on here of the armour colours and infantry uniforms that were period correct so we can plan paints needed.

I break up for two weeks leave on Friday, so I’m planning on a few speed painting experiments for the British, also got a couple of useful books I plan to bring with me if anyone needs some references.
