As you can read here Bandai is goingt to release a 7-inch Primaris Space Marine action figure and some 2-inch chibis, the article showas a Space Marine, a Skitarii Ranger, a Inquisitor, a Eversor Assasin and a Sister of Battle.

oooh … chibi  that’s very cool. I wished they made a 40k game that used them.
In the kawaii lightness of the 40th millenium there’s only *pew* *pew*

How big is 7″ in real world measurements ?
It feels small … I want one that’s the same size as those big Storm Trooper action figures that are on the Weekender set.

@limburger – nowhere near the size of the stormies and Vader; those look to be about two foot so the action figure would be between a quarter and third the size of them.

7” would be about five-six times the size of a tabletop Primaris mini.

I was kind of hoping for some actual chibi figurines, I really dislike the Funko aestatic.

As for the action figure, I would love to see some other sculpts than a space marine.

7 inch is about 18 centimeters. I guess they go with a safe option first and will expand the range if sales are good. The chibis are primarily designed for their vending machines in Japan, but will be sold in the rest of the world as blind packs.

I really dislike blind bags for cellctors stuff.

At 1:36 here you can see a Grey Knight chibi, isn’t he cute?

And of course you can also see the Primaris action figure, here is another pic from the Warhammer Community site:

    Blind bag? Booooooo!

There goes my plan for some Wrath & Glory minis to drop down in community games. 🙁

    Man these look cool

As for blind bags, ebay. I mean, if you want a magic the gathering card etc., thats what collectors of blind bags have been doing for a long time. Not convenient but not the end of the world either

Well, I suppose it depends whether these will widely available enough for an eBay opener to not jack the price up based on scarcity alone: otherwise I’ll probably look to hit up a bits site to get my hands of one offs of the typical table top models.
Will have to see if we get a release date any time soon else I’ll probably go down the latter route anyway.

Just, blind bag: eww. Don’t @ me. 😛

Those already look really good if I may say so and I do. I hope that after Primaris one we get more high end action figures based on 40k.

I was hoping it would be a build and paint kit like Bandai’s Gundam kits. If it’s an actual action figure I may have to just “buy it for my son…”

I bought my first gunpla kit recently and was very impressed by the level of engineering that goes into them. Snap fit, no glue, different colored plastics on the same sprue, moving parts after assembly, etc. The parts themselves may not have the level of detail that an Imperial Knight has, but I’d like to see what kind of 40k vehicle they can pull off.
