So, I have this thing for Witch Hunters, thanks to GW, the Inquisition and the old Demon Hunters.  I try to collect WH -themed minis pretty much anywhere I can find them.  I stumbled on Artel W but was a bit leery of trying to buy from Eastern Europe.  Man, am I glad I did.

It’s an amazing sculpt with incredible details. It’s also got several options – different heads, the option to be skewering a zombie at your feet or not, and so on.  It’s also well-engineered, allowing you to do most of the painting on it while it’s in separate subsections, so you can actually get to most of the detail.

I also wish I was much better at both photography and painting to do this thing justice.  I had this on the painting sticks since June, too nervous to put paint to such an amazing sculpt.  Finally bit the bullet and gave it a shot.

I like it. Good choice and application of colours, cool sculpt. Tell us more about your experience painting it 🙂
