I’m awful for this. I’m overly verbose, and waffle on for paragraphs, but I’m a total hypocrite and skip over long posts by others.

    What a tool. Lol.

I like long posts content wise but practical wise it can be irksome with the click for more. I do all my browsing and posting with my phone so navigation can be tough.

Feel free to join the hobby weekend thread, do as little or as much as you like. Spoiler, there is no real winner. Oh and +10 points to @noyjatat for feedback ?

As the wiser gentlemen above me have said, not if it is a to;pic that interests me. Similarly if the poster has gone out of their way, to describe a process, tell a story or build an arguement, then I appreciate  their time and effort.

However, if you are a “long poster” please remember paragraphing, as blocks of text with no “White space” cause me to flashback to university texts and take me back to places I don’t want to go. 🙂

I’m with the general consensus above, if it interests me, I don’t mind how long it is, if I’m not bothered, I can skip it.

I don’t think the TL;DR meme applies to a hobby site like BoW, we’re all grown up enough to be able to work out which bits interest us and which bits we can leave for someone else to enjoy without implying the post is a waste of our time.
