So, I debated between putting this in the Sci-Fi or the Historical sub forum but they gave up and went for the one of building something.

So, I am in the process of designing and Imperial Guard Regiment for 40k that takes quite a few thematic hints from the British Expeditionary Forces. I have been debating using rank chevrons on the shoulders to pick out certain model (like Sergeants, Corporals on the Heavy Weapons or a Lance Corporal on the vox: you get the idea) but I’m not sure I trust my skills to replicate them across 40+ models. I’ve dug around for transfer sheets instead and the only thing I have comes across is the Archer British Rank Insignia sheet (a la these) but finding this even in stock (forget in the UK) has proven a challenge so far.

Anyone know of anywhere too small to find their way up the Google rankings that sell these? Or of any similar products that I might be able to put to use?

warlord games do a variety of transder sheets https://store.warlordgames.com/collections/bolt-action-armoury?page=2.

if you’re after the generic chevrons only and don’t mind a wait Company B in the states have an excellent range https://company-b-models-and-miniatures.myshopify.com/collections/infantry-decals

    Hope that helps

I recommend Company B as well.  There are some pictures on my US Airborne project blog if you want to see what they look like.

    Cheers for the input all.

Looks like Great Escape selling the Company B sheets would be a good way forward.

The Warlord ones are very accurate but most certainly far too small for a 40k figure. Don’t bother..!
