Adrian Smith – the former GW and current CMON concept artist has a new YouTube channel. Adrian created the vision behind games like Blood Rage and Rising Sun and Hate, and produced some iconic 40K art when at Games Workshop. The first video where he shows off some of his process to make a Halloween themed picture of goblins in a pumpkin patch is here:

He has been my favourtie artist for years and he has promised more videos in the future which is very exciting.
I don’t know why but every time I read his name I think of Iron Maiden XD
Maybe because….
I loved Adrian Smith’s Black and White Pencil work for GW.
It was nice to see his stuff again years late working on stuff like Conan the Boardgame. I will definitely check out his YT channel.
Adrian has posted his second video, this one taking us through his whole process for creating a work featuring a single character:

He said he will be posting something about once a month. Well worth a look.
I’m no artist but these videos are pretty interesting. I’m always on the look out for new channels.
