KoW fantasy and historical work well together. Best battle I’ve been in recently was Macedonians v Samurai v Ogres. Also have done Romans v the undead.

KoW also does allow heroes to do epic things in a battle unlike most other rule sets.

A Song of Ice and Fire by CMON is what you need as it recreates all the characters perfectly and fits the theme rather than just a random rules set where you will never feel like you are battling in Westeros.

@suetoniuspaullinus 46 ?! Wow. Do you have a picture of all of them together? 😀

the scale seems to be about the same as a primaris marine (picture found on google), so that cool. But what about the quality? I have heard mix opinion about the minatures.

@admiralandy thats a good point. hmm I think that it would be a cool with a rule set with elements where some special characters, works larger with than life rules or stats. Like the Mountain.

@smithsco that actually sounds really cool. I am more and more intrigued by KoW. Btw if you would make a unsullied army, what miniatures would you use??

@rasmus I have actually never tried LOTR. I have the “mines of moria” starter set still in plastic. Hope some day, I will give it the time it deserves. But from my understanding LOTR is a skirmish game. But wasn’t there something at one point with a mass LOTR GW rule set??

@hithero sound like a lot you like that game. I will see if I can get a demo game at my local club. 🙂

@reaperfcrew I would probably use Fireforge’s Byzantine Spearmen for the unsullied. If painted right it would resemble them as they appear in the show. The helmet is the tricky part because it is unique but otherwise they are in similar armor and are armed with round shields and spears.

They are not primaris size, nowhere near it, the fig in that pic is Greatjon Umber which is a head taller than the regular grunts which are your standard 32mm scale mini’s.
