Fight Out The Conflicts Of World War II With Fog & Friction Card Game
May 7, 2015 by brennon
If you're looking for a quick and interesting way to play our the conflicts of World War II in a lunch time then have a look at Fog & Friction from Pond Foot Games which seeks to replicate those battles with a new card game...
Quick & Easy Card Game
The game uses cards to play out the battles of World War II where you're trying to use your wit and cunning to beat your foes and also find out ways to work around the unpredictable nature of the fog of war.
Some more information about the game...
"When faced with two battlefields and two deployment phases, every decision and every move has double the gravitas. If you get it wrong you may lose both battlefields, if you get it right you could win both. Sometimes though, finding a way to hold out in the hope of getting the reinforcements you need next turn is all you can do... but that can be damn satisfying too!"
...which sounds like an awesome way to play out a game. I love the idea of trying to work out where best to deploy your troops and at what strength on multiple fronts.
You can find out more about the game by downloading the Rulebook, Play Demonstration & a Print & Play Pack (available on their Kickstarter page).
I think this could be worth giving a go!

Don’t play any ‘card’ games, but I like the idea of this. Always viewed card games as more of an arms-race, but i’ll have a read of the rules.
Always liked the idea of a world war 2 card game like this. However I can make better looking cards on my own home PC and have done so. Need to up the quality of those cards…
