Tigers & Jagtigers Rumble Into Flames Of War This Week

Battlefront Miniatures has put through new packs of miniatures into the mix this week for those building up their Bulge: German forces. There are Tigers and Jagtigers now available for this 15mm World War II Historical wargame, Flames Of War.

The first of the sets is the Tiger II Tank Platoon. This gives you three very hefty vehicles for pushing forward and crushing the Allies. Armed with a fearsome 8.8cm gun, these tanks could destroy enemy armour at long range with incredible ease. The thick front armour meant that it was pretty impervious to Allied guns and the side armour meant it could push through fortified locations too.

Next up, we have the Jagtiger Tank-hunter Platoon.

Again, the focus on front-facing brutality is embodied as part of the Jagtiger Tank-hunter Platoon. Only the highest calibre of anti-tank gun would stand a chance of bringing one of these down, at least from the front. It was armed with a 12.8cm PaK44 Anti-Tank Gun that could shatter a smaller Allied vehicle into incomprehensible pieces.

Last but not least, we also have the Armoured Flak Platoon.

Armed with a variety of weapons, this Flak Platoon could be used to take down aircraft that are soaring above and also foes on the ground. You could put a few holes through Allied aircraft if you liked and then keep the guns trained on Sturmtruppen and Panzergrenadiers too.
