The game allows you to play out the battles towards the end of the war when tanks were rolling their way across trench networks and the fighting was pushing towards its deadliest.
There is currently money off their entire range of miniatures which will be great for someone looking to get started in the game but additionally, you can also pre-order the new rulebook which comes with an updated style to bring it in line with Flames Of War 4th Edition.
You will also find that once you get yourself the book as part of this pre-order period you'll also net yourself a nice set of tokens and objective markers too.
As well as working on rules for some of the more archaic aspects of warfare which were still being employed in World War I like cavalry you'll also have the big guns that fired from the back of the trenches and of course the tanks themselves which were coming into their own.
All of this is presented in unit cards now to make it easier for you to get into your games.
As well as focusing in on the forces that you'd expect from the period including the Germans, British and French you'll also see the Americans and more getting thrown into the mix as they all had their part to play in this global conflict.
Are you going to be getting stuck back into Flames Of War and The Great War?

Hope they cover forces in other campaigns like Gallipoli and Palestine. Would love to run and model Australian Light Horse in both mounted and dismounted forms.
Even in the first war German tank’s were beast’s.
I’m hoping they will have aircraft in too… maybe use a variant of the chopper rules so they always have to move, strike aircraft are cool but I always begrudge having to pay for models that maybe won’t show….
Seems good to me.
Very happy to see a revised rule set. I have been thinking of adding a French force to my collection. The reduced prices are not that much reduced to motivate me to collect a French force, but the new rules may pull me in that direction. We will see in March 2019 when the rules are available.
