This time on John's turf, he has the historical advantage, but will Justin's legendary dice pull him out for another victory? Will knowledge reign supreme or will the dice gods be gentle?
Who do you think will win?
Hey, those are my M7 Priests! Awesome! Thanks, guys! 😀 😀 😀
a priest in the desert …
I wonder, is there a joke in there?
How can it be? That is a Tiger Tank, straight out of Hogan’s Heroes. One of the first episodes after the pilot. 🙂
@ghent99 – I didn’t get that reference at first (I am NOT a fan of the show) . . . until I Google Image searched “Tiger Tank in Hogan’s Heroes” . . . and oh my God. Oh my GOD! How could they do that in good conscience?
Talk about “war crimes.”
yikes … they dared to call that a tank ?
I suppose saying “get in the tiger” doesn’t sound quite as dirty as “mount the priest” …
Probably the only war surplus they could hold of at the time. Early on there was a lot of odd tv budget stuff, later there was some real push for uniforms etc accuracy. Never perfect but they at least tried.
I am a fan of many of those late 60’s campy tv shows. Bat man, the Green Hornet to name a few, the true transition from radio script writing to tv writing happened during this era.
Well you could argue that a lot of allied troops thought every tank they saw was a Tiger including allied ones so maybe it’s not too wrong
Great to see some more flames of war battle reports. Can’t wait to see more.
Great beginner’s guide to the basics of Flames of War. I agree with @dignity , that whole weekend I was having nightmares of those damned little “rat” symbols coming up on my opponents’ dice! 😀
Super 🙂
Nice to finally see these videos. I was beginning to think they got lost in the maelstrom that data storage can be nowadays.
But here it is and a good one it is. Mike is just a really nice guy who can explain rules expertly. Looking forward for some larger engagements.
