The folks at Battlefront are taking the new campaign book NUTS! for a spin in this Battle Report that we saw them preparing for last week. Check out the Flames of War battle above...
"Our third and final book in our Lorraine and Ardennes themed series is Nuts, The Siege of Bastogne, Battle of the Bulge, December 1944. As the title suggests this book covers the fighting around Bastogne, the US 101st Airborne Division’s epic defence and the German attempts take the town. The name of the book comes from General McAuliffe, acting commander of the 101st Airborne Division, in his reply to the Germans’ ultimatum to surrender Bastogne on 22 December 1944, when he simply replied ‘Nuts!"
Watch the Battle Report above and then go and pick up the NUTS! book from the online store. I reckon this might inspire a few people to become armchair generals themselves and take these forces to war.
Let me know what you liked and what you would have done differently in this battle below!
That would be about the most professional looking battle report I’ve seen. The camera at models eye level was great. It didn’t hurt that they’ve got superb armies on that table I guess. Shame I couldn’t understand a word they were saying, ‘eh bro!’
A bit of a bench mark there as far as battle reports go. The explanations were nice and concise the game flowed well and it was easy to follow the action even for someone who hasn’t played the game. I really liked the camera work as well.
