Every Flames of War table needs a good road going through it. And Warren and Lloyd are here to talk you through it all. From layout to cutout to spray and dip the video shows all the progress the guys make throughout the day to bring a bit more life to the tables.
Who else, alongside Lloyd, is waiting for a Hornby boot camp?
It’s saying none of the video formats are recognised
A horny boot camp? NOPE! I’m out….
..Hornby… oh.. my bad
Getting train stuff that will match 15mm soldiers is going to be fairly difficult. Are Battlefront tanks 1:100 or 1:120? Either way, it won’t be easy. N gauge is far too small as it is 1:148. OO or HO gauge, is 1:76 and 1:87 so will tend to be on the big side but it is perfect for 20mm or 1:72 gaming. The only gauge that might work is TT, which is approximately 1:100 but it is very specialised and I’ve never seen a layout in it or even kits in this scale, not in the UK anyway. Also if… Read more »
Where we’re going we don’t need roads ^__^
I hate to say it but the roads look very wide for Normandy
They will look thinner once the edges are done & at this size we can use them for 28mm too.
Once again gentlemen you have came up with a cost effect terrain option bravo gentlemen bravo.?????.
I don’t think there’s anything better than watching @lloyd in full ” terrain mode “.
a great set of videos guys the roads are looking brilliant.
Plans for a rail artillery piece that can move from table to table? Ammo train?
Brilliant guys love it all.
Was a nice surprise to find this when got home last night on my youtube recommended . Theraputic get in cup of tea, a chelsea bun and 30 mins with you lot , good cure for rather boring day. As for N guage ,the buildings work ok with 15mm ( I originally brought some multi coloured plastic ones way back in 1983 for 15mm colonials as buildings in 15mm were hard to source)see my ‘Bobs fictional Countries’ pics , been a long time since seen any of the actual trains and the tracks but if I remember rightly @Robert is… Read more »
Who do you get to use the scissors if your not a responsible adult and when is Lloyds Blue Peter screen test?
Quick question @warzan are you planning to do all the bocage?
Or are we gaming as is hinted at the Pattons breakout?
Idea for the castle is have it as a mulitplayer evening game, with mulitple units of U.S paras trying to assault it.
Put a few AT guns (we will have multiple pak 75’s) and do a version of Easy company assault.
Llyod must be working awfully hard to go through three shirts in a single day 🙂
It is “taps aff” weather in Northern Ireland this week, perhaps he just keeps losing them 🙂
You need a Thomas, Annie and Clarabelle for that branch line!
Hornby have stopped making locomotives and rolling stock for Thomas and Friends, as far as I know 🙁
I miss the these vids where we watch the team build on a large project over several episodes.
Good stuff team OTT!
a cheap and simple way to make roads
