Armour Up With New Weekly Flames Of War German Releases
October 18, 2019 by brennon
Flames Of War welcomes more German releases from Battlefront Miniatures. This time around there's a little less of a wave of releases but the river is still flowing for those exploring D-Day and World War II.
Leading the way we have the Jagdpanzer IV Platoon which is perfect for a little bit of tank hunting. The low chassis and heavy gun are perfect for trundling through the woods and through the countryside watching for Allied patrols, ready to punch a hole in Allied armour.
Next up we're looking at some artillery with the Hummel Artillery Battery.
The 15cm howitzer on the front of this thing makes it a pretty deadly addition to your German force. With this following along next to other tanks, you will be able to cover the French countryside in craters.
Sticking with artillery we also have the Wespe Artillery Battery.
This vehicle, a little quicker and more nimble in design, was fantastic for those who are looking to have mobile firepower in the mix. It comes armed with a 10.5cm howitzer which is still a hefty piece of kit.
Lastly, we're looking towards the skies with the inclusion of the Sd Kfz 7/1 Quad AA Platoon.
This mobile artillery piece comes with a big gun that fires 1800 rounds per minute. Using this you can blanket the skies with fire and protect your Panzer spearhead as it thunders forward across the countryside.
What do you make of these new models?
"Using this you can blanket the skies with fire and protect your Panzer spearhead as it thunders forward across the countryside..."
Great for a artillery position with the jagdpanzers an a AA platoon cover from attacks.
I want them all but I am going to paint everything I have first before I buy some more…. I nearly said that with a straight face!
I’m sure my wife will want some of these for her Germans.
Want these but definitely need to finish the stuff I’ve got already.
