Late-War Leviathan Pre-Orders Up For Flames Of War

Battlefront Miniatures are now taking pre-orders for the Late-War Leviathans book and also a range of Flames Of War Unit Cards, Vehicles and Infantry for use during the What If? period of 1945 and beyond should World War II have continued.
Late-War Leviathans // Flames Of War
Inside the new book, you'll get an alternative background for the War should it have continued after May 1945 in Europe. This then twins with rules for playing big games that make use of the hefty Leviathan tanks that you'll get for the different nations.
- US Formations fielding the T28 and M26 Pershing assault tanks, T29, T30, and T34 heavy tanks, M26 Pershing and M4 Easy Eight medium tanks and armoured rifles.
- British Formations fielding the Tortoise and Churchill assault tanks, Centurion and Charioteer tanks, and Saracen mounted motor infantry. Tiger II and Tiger I heavy tanks, Panther (8.8cm) and Panther (7.5cm) tanks, E-100 and Skorpion tank-hunters and Panzersturm infantry.
- German Formations fielding the Maus and E-100 super heavy tanks, Tiger II and Tiger I heavy tanks, Panther (8.8cm) and Panther (7.5cm) tanks, E-100 and Skorpion tank-hunters and Panzersturm infantry.
- Soviet Formations fielding the IS-3, IS-7, T-10 heavy tanks, T-44 and T-54-1 medium tanks, ISU-130 assault guns, and BTR-152 mounted motor rifle infantry.
So, as you can see, a whole bunch of new formations and an absolute boatload of tanks for you to throw into the mix alongside experimental weaponry for taking them out.
Maus // Flames Of War
The book will also come with loads of colour photography of the miniatures and plenty of artwork so you can get some cues for your painting projects. It seems like a great way for you to play out a What If? scenario using the core rules for Flames Of War rather than going to something like World Of Tanks or Clash Of Steel.
IS-7 // Flames Of War
A lot of the different miniatures that you saw mentioned above are going to be available separately over the course of the next few months. If you'd like to bulk out your force for a fun bit of alternative history, you will have your chance to do so.
Do you like the idea of going beyond 1945 with Late-War Leviathans?

Stop that! It’s SILLY!
Have to admit I’m a fanboy for this
But … it’s SILLY! 🤡
That’s probably one of the few bridges that could ever have taken the weight of a Maus crossing it.
Those British formations seems awfully Germanic in places (it’s a Battlefront typo).
That’s … SILLY!
