Impudent Mortal Launches Entry Level 15-28mm Terrain Kickstarter
September 1, 2015 by deltagamegirl22
Impudent Mortal has their finger on the pulse of the gaming community and appreciates the often high cost associated with getting into/maintaining the hobby.
With this in mind, they have set out to give back to the gaming community with a fantastic, new, bulk terrain project that is perfect for any level gamer...
The Entry Level 28mm & 15mm Terrain System Kickstarter has launched today and offers an amazing amount of terrain at a very reasonable price. These terrain sets were designed to be more simple in structure, while providing a nice amount of terrain to allow gamers an affordable way to dress a table, without breaking the bank.
These sets are made from high quality, MDF and the more basic structures allow newer gamers a great starting place for assembling and painting their terrain, and a more seasoned gamer can paint it to their heart's content for some really versatile, and lovely pieces. The only limit to this terrain is your imagination.
Kickstarter Options
The Kickstarter has four different options for terrain...
28mm Near Future (perfect for Infinity)
28mm Ruins (perfect for 40K)
15mm Ruins (perfect for smaller scale sci-fi, etc)
15mm Town (perfect for Flames of War)
You can field a whole table's worth of terrain for yourself with just one of these sets, and if you are a tournament coordinator, a set like this (or rather, multiple sets like this) can be a real life saver, time saver, and money saver.
Impudent Mortal is offering an amazing deal with these sets, in a buy four get one free option. Just think how quickly you could get a tournament ready this much terrain!
As with all of Impudent Mortal's Kickstarters, they complete pledges by order they were received- so if you want your's sooner than later, pledge early and consider it done!
How will you use this versatile terrain from Impudent Mortal?

The stuff for Infinity might be nice. Looks like it would go with the Microarts Studio bits I have, but I would like to see more first. It will be difficult to convert me away from MAS!
Very nice.
just had a look – 26 backers $1911 funded with a month to go…. I think they made it.
The quality looks good and the price is pretty good. looking at the 15mm town set you get a lot of variety and volume. It does look bog standard but this allows for a nice full table quickly and efficiently.
Some nice scenery their.
Kudos to IM for offering quite a bit of terrain for a great price! The near Future stuff looks to match up well with the MAS stuff and is a little more expensive than 2 District 5 Apartment buildings. If I didn’t already have a ton of stuff I’d back this, and if they weren’t reaching their goal I’d back it. The 15mm stuff looks good also, but again… Gaming for over 45 years gives you the opportunity to accumulate a LOT of stuff.
This looks great.
Generally I was pleased with the last kickstarter. I mainly got the scatter set for the industrial terrain, so dumpsters, barriers, street lamps. It went together easy enough, lots of space though in the joins. When I put together some micro art studios MDF terrain, it all fit really snugly and I didn’t need to use much glue at all. With the IM terrain, I had to use glue for everything and make sure it was lined up right since there was enough room that it could go a bit wonky if I wasn’t minding it. I asked them about… Read more »
