Now you've seen the Assembly Guide from earlier in the week by Battlefront Miniatures you can now learn How To Paint the West German Leopard 2 from the new Team Yankee Leopard book.
Follow Team Yankee Leopard Week
The techniques above are done with a brush but, you will be able to catch another tutorial this week thanks to John where he shows you how to use an airbrush to paint your models.
If you'd like to get your hands on your own Team Yankee West Germans then you can head over to their webstore on the link below...

I always liked the winter camo of the Bundeswehr quite a lot…
excellent vid, thanks guys, looking forward to getting stuck into some Team Yankee this weekend
Winter camo is the best
That method, even though it looks very good, would take John more than a week though 😛
This is pretty much the technique I’ve used for my MERDC M1s.
Only I don’t see the gloss varnish advantage as really necessary but that’s obviously personal preference.
I like painting the camo pattern by hand as I feel I’ve got better control. Masking and all the carfuffle with the airbrush are taking ME definitely longer than ‘manual’ painting..
Great video.
Well done!
Think I’d go with the airbrush as I prefer the finish personally
Still prefer the airbrush but really good video
Neat little guide but I would love a winter one as well.
Awesome tutorial. To the point and easy to follow!
Love the paint work, going to try the old airbrush when I get some. Love the Germans but Brits for me I think.
Interesting technique is the gloss paint
