The Americans are getting some artillery to cover their advance through the battlefields of World War I for Flames Of War. Mortars and full on field guns are going to be echoing across the trenches once these get going...

Mortar Fire

The Americans were part of a massive counter offensive to try and stop the Germans who had put all their effort into crushing the rest of the Allies after Russian left the war. Bringing new technology, including the likes of these Trench Mortars, they were able to hold the line.

Trench Mortar Platoon

These mortars were designed to be used as close support for infantry advances. They were compact enough to fit in a trench and could be carried around with ease when the team needed to relocate. A nifty invention.

Artillery Strike
