Couple of things, ambushes are placed in the starting step and AOPs can’t be placed within 2″ of woods…
Also as great and ambushes are they are mission dependant so not always a certainty and can only be revealed in your deployment area. With regards to the”short straw” I would have placed my ambush so begin the hedges to take out the 3 back tanks…ignoring the short straw completely….
Dam autocorrect ” behind the hedges”
Also depending on how your club/gaming group runs terrain this can really make a difference as a defender. For instance my group play hedges as bogging checks and slow going meaning 8″ move for those light tanks as they head towards the gun line giving the ambushing anti tank guns at least 2 rounds of shooting before the Stuarts get in…would make a big difference to your potential tactics and ambush deployment…
Let’s see some more battle reports. You guys are at your best when you have a game on.
Would be cool to see some list building advice, with example list put in to bat reps.
Tournament coverage would be good to see again, I know it’s a time sink and you guys are busy but with the ask.
I am going to my first FOW tournament in February(PAW Plymouth Devon)and the stuff you guys put out from the GT was top draw.
The know your enemy segment from season 2 was very interesting as well, would love to see some more discussions with the top players as to their thoughts on lists and how they play them..
I echo Skilamac’s comments regarding the know your enemy segment during season 2. I would offer to have them show up with their army list and face Warren or Dave, who would in turn play the list that the specific top player fears the most.
Well done chaps, great show. I would quite like to see some “Nam” tactics if pos?
still fow ftw is one of my favourite shows together with 3 colours up and the weekender, great season guys. I built my reincarnation of the easy company after the tips you gave us during fow ftw!
it would be nice to see some battle reports and list building tips. can’t wait for the next season!
I finally managed to watch the last remaining fow ftw shows – great job! 🙂 I would really like to see a bunch of full battle reports in the future, similar to the very early shows, just with the complete set of rules that have been introduced by now.
