We are now into the FINAL HOURS of the Flames of War & Tanks! D-Day Global Campaign brought to you by OnTableTop and the good folks at Battlefront Miniatures.

About The Campaign
The campaign is going to be running over six weeks and will chart the push by the Allies inland along three distinct Routes. You will be able to start either at Orne Bridges, Carentan or Sainte-Mère-Église. With each week of the campaign, you'll be able to fight in new unlocked sections of these Routes and see if you can fight to win the campaign for either the Allies or the Axis.
Simply, this breaks down as either as Allied Victory or an Axis Victory depending on the side which controls the most Routes!
Taking Part
As with most of the campaigns, we run you will be able to take part online as well as in your local gaming stores and record your victories on our special Warconsole system.
- You will be able to keep up-to-date with the News of what's going on throughout the campaign
- Check out the Battles that have been recorded and maybe record your own (you can upload images, videos, text and more to these)
- Check out the list of Commanders and who is fighting for each faction
- Visit the different Theatres and see how the battles are unfolding
Things are going to be dynamically changing across the different weeks as new bonuses are unlocked for controlling Routes and Areas throughout the campaign. So, if you're interested in having an influence in a massive global campaign where you could potentially change the course of World War II this is the time to get involved.
Which faction are you going to be fighting for?

pretty sure I have a fortified German regiment or three I can stick in there.
Looks a fun way of using my existing FoW miniatures, and a great catalyst to get new stuff painted and on the table.
Well I only have (maybe play) Tanks and in the local club FoW is dead…. dead as a very famous parrot…
I’ll have a few more Germans ready for the fight before then. Hopefully some paratroopers as well if Battlefront can stop sinking boats…
Just wondering how it will work if we have an easy front force. I.e Soviets. I used the slow growth league to finally build a Soviet force.
Although it is themed to Normandy sign up as an Ally play your games and report as normal.
Your victories will go to the allied total in the area you are playing
Thanks. Just wanted a clarification.
I’ll be fielding my American forces and my wife will be running her German army.
Although I’ve been building Higgins boats and planning to play-out the beach landings first.
Do you have the old d-day campaign book Dennis?
I have Bloody Omaha in my hands but have ordered ‘Battlefront Flames Of War: NORMANDY BATTLES
Wargaming D-Day & Beyond, Late 1944-1945’, which should give me all the information and goodies that I’m hoping to incorporate for our big beach battle.
I am open to any advice and or suggestions on material and sources for this grand battle.
I would have answered sooner, but the IT department at work recently decided to start blocking the ‘beastsofwar.com’ website. It starts to load but then just hang
I may need to invest in a VPN. ?
that’s okay, I know what it’s like to have things hang up when you’re wanting to work them. That Normandy Battles book is the one I was talking about, but forgot the name.
You’ll get a lot out of it, beautiful set of scenarios
With my track record I’ll have to sign up with the Axis … if the Allies are to win again 😉
I was hoping to have time to prepare for this because Tanks was mentioned, but even that was me overestimating effective hobby time 🙁
should be a great show.
Will OTT or Battlefront be producing publicity materials that could be displayed and handed out at clubs and stores?
Looking forward to roll our own Normandy mini campaign at Games ‘n Stuff, Zwolle – the Netherlands integrating results in the TT campaign
no chance for proper game but I could squeeze one or two tanks games.
I’ll probably be playing on both sides as I have the only German army in my neck of the woods. However I want to get my GIs stuck in too!
I’m going to be awkward and represent the Canadians… which rather like my models and lists I suspect I’ll really be a variation of the British.
I’ve signed up as American, mostly I’ll be playing Tanks against my son (who won’t be signing up).
Hope to get a couple of games in during this campaign.
Gentlemen,
It would be nice to be able to input data into a battle report and save it, without publishing it to the community. Most reads come soon after it’s published but I would find it helpful to have a day or two to polish it up before its published. Perhaps an idea for the future.
Thanks,
JW
Hill 112 here we come
Only managed to get three games and reports in but the campaign gave me some welcome hobby focus and to get more interested in Tanks the Skirmish Game and the tons of upgrade cards. Thanks OTT. ?
