The first of these is the Comet Armoured Troop which offers up five trademark tanks for the British. The Comet is an upgraded Cromwell Tank that gets to use a 77mm gun. It was a fast and mobile medium tank and probably one of the best the British had to offer. It was also well-armoured meaning that it could take a hit!

Next up, we have the Challenger Armoured Troop that rolls in as another of the up-gunned Cromwells.

The Challenger then got a much larger gun and a much larger turret which also meant that the hull had to be lengthened too. So, it was great and could rock around with a 17pdr gun but this meant that it wasn't able to zip around quite as quickly.

Speedy Jeeps & AA Options!

Moving away from tanks, Battlefront Miniatures also showed off some awesome options for those that need to do some scouting and keep aircraft at bay. The Jeep Recce Troop/SAS Section makes an appearance this week!

If you're eager to get ahead of the enemy and make sure that you secure those objectives, these might be for you. There was no one more fearless than the SAS and you could have these fellows working behind enemy lines, capturing objectives and causing all sorts of mischief too. The kit comes with machine gun options for the back of the jeeps meaning that you can keep opposing units pinned down!

Last but not least, if you're looking to keep German aircraft away from your advance, make sure to pick up the BOFORS AA Troop.

Being able to fire 100 rounds a minute, the BOFORS AA were able to keep a lot of German aircraft at bay and blast many of them from the skies. The fearsome rate of fire that it was able to deliver and the high-velocity shells made it one of the most widely used anti-aircraft systems in World War II. Thanks for the info there Battlefront!

Do you think you'll be picking up these vehicles for use with your British in Flames Of War?
