May 15, 2023 by brennon
Battlefront Miniatures has announced that the 15mm Flames Of War 'Nam range is going to be returning to tabletops via a variety of specialist stockists across the world. If you missed out before, take to the jungles of Vietnam and battle out a very different kind of war.

Focused on the conflict running from 1965 through to 1972, you can get stuck into a clash between the United States and the Viet Cong with some unique mechanics that we were particularly enamoured by. You'll have helicopters doing daring insertions (and extractions!), ambushes in villages and battles on muddy rivers in the middle of nowhere.

The entire 'Nam range is going to be available from a list of Specialist Range Partners from 1st July 2023. It is worth checking out the full list as there are plenty of stockists including a few in Europe and one in the United Kingdom. Caliver Books in Nottingham will be the one you'll want to find if you're in the UK.

If you want to take a walk down memory lane, check out the Flames Of War FTW videos that we did back in the day. They might be out of date but they have some great vibes!

There are plenty of rules out there for you to dive into if you'd like to take these 15mm miniatures and play something that isn't Flames Of War too. I'm sure there are folks who could drop some suggestions in the comments below.
Will you be visiting those specialist retailers?

Ooh nice this look like a fab game to get.
Happy for Caliver Books getting a boost (and thanks for that ECW book the other week) but getting a strong whiff of GW-esque FOMO-farming from this.
I think it’s mostly production bottlenecks, they have so many ranges and figures in them the factory couldn’t keep up. They mentioned a while back they wanted to do a ‘nam month as a way to bring the full range back so I expect they have been building up the stock for a while for it.
That does make sense. It’s a blessing for me really, time to crack on with by Team Yankee
