It’s the XLBS Show! Happy Sunday my CoG brothers and sisters.
Love the CoG radio show @warzan I hope it continues. Really good fun in the middle of the week.
I’m currently still working on my ‘Blood and Valor’ minis. I did receive the markers and dials for ‘Blood and Valor’ that I ordered from Phalanx Consortium. Great pieces. I’ll paint the etched areas before I peel the protective paper off them.
Happy Fathering Sunday!
Maybe today I’ll be allowed to do some hobby!
Btw – Following our PM conversation last week, you’re welcome Warren!
It’s XLBS, it’s father’s Day and finally it’s my birthday too. Happy weekend to all. Hopefully I get some hobby time today!
now that’s the best star wars remake I have seen. Gerry are you converting to round bases
I only use round bases when the game requires it
hope you eye is now a lot better.
it is indeed thanks
Happy Sunday to all COG’s,may your hobby time be productive whatever it may be.
Took me a moment to realise Lloyd isn’t in an opticians
Great show. We didn’t lose 11 Days a year. People still use the Julian Calendar so we know what day it would be on and it’s 13 days behind us right now. We see the issues with two people using different Calendars in the Napoleonic Wars but I won’t go into it. The Julian gains a year every 130ish days since it uses 365.25 days a year when the real numbers of days in the year is something like 365.248 or something extremely similar but not exact. Wait are you guys still in lockdown? We know the Romans and Greeks… Read more »
I know where Warren got the 11 days, but I’m waiting to see if anyone else spotted it.
Are we talking about 11 days in July?
Britain didnt adopt the Gregorian calendar until much later then the rest of Europe being a popish thing. Cant work out because of this if the end of the world will happen sooner in the UK or later than the rest of the world
Is the colour orange part of it?
Hay Hay it’s the crazy gang show.
Warren speaks the truth regarding breast milk. I’ve experienced that first hand. I was sick with fever once, for days. Then I got some breast milk, and the fever cleared up within the hour. I kid you not. Right as rain I was.
Happy Sunday All hope your all enjoying your day. Happy Birthday Lloyd hope your having a grand weekend. Really looking forward to see what Ben comes up with for the new Dunkledorf minis loved what’s been completed so far??
the best day of the week XLBS ?
first of all, a happy birthday Lloyd (my parrot tries to whistle happy birthday to you but he only knows half of the song ?? ??).
the 6mm army looks very nice, maybe I can use this as an opponent and use my Belenos army as a giant army (if I put them on rectangular bases) I am daydreaming ?.
hobby today wash the snow off my tree (cheap Christmas trees that you get at Christmas decoration) this week get hot so they can dry easily.
???
Happy Sunday! And Happy Birthday Lloyd! Gerry needs some breast milk for his eye. On ASOIAF Miniatures Game. The game is rather good and I like how they’ve kept evolving and updating the rules and the lists, mind that I haven’t been following it during COVID period now. I even enjoyed competitive play, which I very rarely do. But the CMON distribution is a pain, there are boxes that have been unavailable at least a year, including stuff like Night’s Watch starter set. And since the turnaround time in their manufacturing is so long, new releases can come with unit… Read more »
I noted that the new necrons we’re called God killer’s so could GW may be considering them going after the chaos force’s?
Mint imperial @warzan ???
Lloyd got his carthaginians from the carthaginians?!?
Is that not a plumbers wrench @warzan ?
You could do the radio station from the platform Guy’s?
Bity Bity?
Happy birthday Lloyd. Warren I guessed all of those movie clips . . . except for the ones I didn’t get, I think Gerry is right, I believe it was Robert Mitcham(forgive the spelling) in the longest day. Ben your models look great but your lack of movie recognition leaves something to be desired. With regards the Roman discussion, I haven’t really got much in the way of historicals but I do have a box of Warlords plastic Early Late Imperial Caesarian Roman troops that I would love to tackle and add to, but how to paint them is a… Read more »
Yes Mitchum he played A brigadier general Norman Cota and received the DSC for his D-Day actions.
Just check tinternet.
Nice one Guy’s.
& Happy birthday Lloyd????????
You guys only get clean internet? You don’t know what you’re missing!
My first Sunday XLBS – where have I been, what have I missed! Well worth the cost of a coffee, perhaps even more. During lockdown Beasts of War has been been my sanity saviour. Big thanks. My only worry now is that because the legend that is MacReady keeps rubbing his eye… is he actually turning into The Thing? 😉 Cheers guys, happy birthdays, father’s days, etc. Back to my projects as my kids have promised me P[eace] and Q[uiet]. I must grab it whilst it lasts…
This is the internet in the UK???

There are others for jars etc.
Happy Sunday, wow a Golden Button, such a surprise. Thanks ? Love the Dunkeldorf range its so expressive makes it easy to paint ?
