It’s the XLBS Show…..Happy Sunday brothers and sisters of CoG! Love the Jovian Wars Ships! Really cool stuff. @avernos I’m proud to say I watched every episode of the Babylon 5 series and the Crusade Series. I even meet the actor that played the technomage. Really nice fellow. Had lunch with him at a SciFi convention. I’ll diffinetly use the knowledge Team OTT is handing out today, to make some flags for my Colonial, British, and French troops that I’ve been building lately. Love the CoG shield designs!!! I really need me some of those @lloyd Still working on my… Read more »
I met Bruce Boxleitner, Tron himself, and got an autographed picture of B5
He was really down to earth and very approachable and that was in a small backstreet comic shop in Belfast!
Never expected to see him there
BTW—I loved the blooper at the end of the show with the ZOOM room ‘voice changing effect’ on Gerry. Fantastic stuff, especially when he said “Oky Doky”. ??. I think I’ve watched that part a half dozen times!
happy sunday
It’s 5he Weeken… No hang on … Happy Sunday!!
Finally things feel back to normal.
HAPPY SUNDAY!!
Whoa, a 2-hour show. I’m going to need more tea!
Happy Sunday ?
Jovian wars looks great and have been loving Artimis work. Great golden buttons well done everyone joy to see on a Sunday morning. My mam was staying at my old place and I could hear her snoring through 3 walls and a bathroom but her valve is loud ticker too but you out my cousins baby on her chest and she’s out like a light. Great work Mad Doc Stu ?
For the Babylon 5 series didnt didnt Channel 4 jump in to help save it ?
The Jovian ships are very Full Thrustesque
no Channel 4 were already showing it, it ended up on TNT for reasons best known to no one at all I think
Fun with Flags Yay!! I wish Ben would stop talking about Chewbacca, I have an unassembled copy upstairs, but it’s so far down my painting queue that I feel guilty every time Ben mentions he wants one . . . I haven’t anything other than pipe dream plans for a Roman army and yet those shield transfers are incredible, I kind of wish they were on the site for use, talking merch would it be within the realms of possibility of them being online? Or maybe in the store as print to order or something? Also Gerry, I don’t know… Read more »
I have Scorpions, Keltois, Lions, some Griffins, some Undead, and a few goblins, dwarfs both flavours, the majority of my collection are Wolfen, and Devourers which I have close to complete sets.
@brennon I did some Scariff Terrain using plastic Aquarium plants for about £20 to £30.
See the two entrys.

Very cool idea 🙂
I want to break my brushes and throw away my green stuff now after watching that! Awesome work, even if it includes fake Star Wars.
Nice intro guy’s Lol
Your green alien rebel must have been a school teacher?as he has eye’s on the dack of his head Ben.Lol
One of the ship could be the Blake 7 liberator.
you mean Avon’s 7 Liberator 😉
Lol
I preferred it when they changed ships to the Scorpion and had the hidden base!
Avon was the better leader. Sour, realistic, and practical.
OTT Spacemarine Chapter @Lloyd ???
Blimey there’s a whole thread there. What would we call them? The OTTers? The Wankh Angels? The Cults?
Darth Gerry?
Lol more voice over Gerry Guy’s?
A fab show guy’s.
Feck me that was an amazing XLBS, no 3d talk, actual hobby talk and am amazing tutorial on flags to boot.
B5 vis the best SciFi series every and Full Thrust’s Jon Tuffley is a huge fan, write B5 space combat rules using FT
@brennon if you fancy a game of Star Wars Imperial Assault then I suggest you get the app on android or Steam on windows PC and enjoy the single player mode. 🙂
To
I’ll have a go at that
I am all for using the app rather than playing 1 vs many. It makes Descent much better and Imperial Assault too.
Brilliant show…Gerry epic saying you missed “Ben i am your Father!!”
Thanks, guys, for the nice words on my Star Wars-project – you managed to get me out of a little hobby-depression I fell into because of a little accident that happened to my Star Destroyer build.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
It’s not soooo bad – I will get back to it, eventually, but for the moment, it is shelfed. Could be something for the next Spring Cleaning Challenge!
Happy sunday!
Disney’s Black Hole! Wow, that takes me back! Really loved that movie. As for B5: AWESOME show! That show was also screwed in syndication : awful schedules that changed without noticed… i remember VCRing an entire night (that’s 8 hours on low quality), to get that week’s show, it was delayed because of the NBA’s series that day and, IT DIDN’T aired that week!
See you later CoGs!
The faction for Jovian Wars are the CEGA, Jovian Confederation, and Venus – JOvian Wars is derived from Jovian Chronicles which is one of Dream Pod 9 old IP next to Heavy Gear
Also don’t tell Justin that Jovian Wars is based on Gundam
Great show. Loved seeing the shield transfer idea and wish they’d do a Attack/XWing version of B5 and Stargate.
@brennon Is Echoes of Eternity that Jesse Cox ran RP? I’ve been passing it over due to lack of time but: any good?
That is the one. I have watched it basically every day for the past week or so and loved it. Jesse has some major Star Wars nerd-lore love for it and the characters are a lot of fun. They get a few things wrong but it’s good to have on in the background.
Thanks for the Button guys! Really please you liked the Ships….. and the Star Wars Clones too of course 😀 The two factions are: Jovian Confederation. A nation that has the majority of it’s citizens in space colonies around Jupiters Orbit (Very like Zeon from Gundam) and mining stations on the moons and planets of the outer worlds. CEGA are the combined Earth forces who are trying to reassert their dominance on the solar system. In fact the Exo Suits are very similar to the Gundam Mobile Suits and the Jovian Wars game takes a lot of influence from that… Read more »
