It’s the XLBS Show,…………..Happy Sunday Fellow CoGs! . Really enjoyed the coverage last weekend. Well DONE Team OTT! . @lloyd you are lucky to be able to use “one P” coins for your basing. It is not allowed in the USA. It’s a crime here to deface US money. BTW, what is the diameter of a “one P” coin? I’ve used Washers many times for bases when I need something thin but with a little weight. . I’ve been building a Bretonian Army for WARMASTER. After @avernos enlightened me many moons ago. I’ve just ordered “Fantastic Battles” this week. While… Read more »
It’s only illegal to deface notes in the UK though as its all plastic now its probably a lot harder to do
Have fun diving into Defiance
first, i am good at this. always number 1
Happy Sunday!
What happens when Justin or John’s characters die? Do they have to buy more dice?
I believe that is the rule
Contrast I don’t think is the answer. Spray grey.wash them fo bring out the detail add block colour then a wash of your choice. If your feeling energetic a quick bold highlight
I shall show off some of the painting I’ve done so far next week 🙂
A great show lads, I got my Malifaux stuff finished, and my Bushido ki tokens done.
I love the idea of 10mm fantasy, but it’s hard enough to play with my 28mm army.
Ben Where did you get that Dwarven Print, and why isn’t it framed?
I picked it up from Games Day many years ago. It’s also not framed because I’m terrible at remembering to do it haha. Going to get it sorted when I move next.
I can’t speak for 10mm but 6mm is awesome. I’ve got American Civil War and Napoleonic Armies in 6mm bases very differently and for different systems and they’re great fun to paint. 10mm does seem to be a growing scale for Fantasy which I might dip my toes in.
I can only imagine Gerry has in mind to paint the Ork warmachine as though it’s made from looted parts from one of the Orks greatest victories…. Crimson Fists gubbinz from Rynn’s World? The light and smoke looks cool – looking forward to seeing it completed!
you’ll see the plumbing running next week, you’ll have to wait a another couple of weeks for the complete reveal
Justin
HAPPY SUNDAY!
Justin could put those bracers to use and take up LARP
Happy Sunday !!!1 ….. 10 mm is too much anything more than 2mm is excessive
You need to be careful when using caulking or mastic, ones that I’ve used at work tend to be either silicone based, which paint is loathe to stick to or acrylic based, which paint loves to stick to, but is brittle when it dries, now Soudal (I believe) make one called Aluseal, if I remember right, which according to R&D, is flexible when it dries, but may not be silicone based, but I’d need to check when I’m in work. Has anyone looked at using roofing felt for making roads? Myself and Wurzzel tried a while back, but the glue… Read more »
luckily you can get brown caulking, so for making flexible roads glue on grass and you’re done
That’s some big brain thinking and considering we have it in every colour from Chartwell green to bright yellow, I would have thought of that.
that’s why they keep me around. That and the compromising photographs I have of the rest of the crew
I have tried roofing felt for roads, the results weren’t great. It does have a nice texture but if you go down that route, you’d be better off with sand paper.
Orks and plastic tubing… Has to be an old school Gobsmasha from WD136.
I built one of those, if I remember correctly they used a smarties tube. I also built a baneblade from the old WD plans that was filthy
Hi CoGz folks.
Lol

An suddenly the the studio printers will be busy?!?
I’m going to guess the stompa will be painted in the classic purple and orange that everyone remembers from the White Dwarf article about tank’s speed freeks perhaps? Love the 10mm talk, 28mm is still my comfort zone but the more I see about that smaller scale the more I’m tempted to have a go, problem is having just painted a chaos warlord from warmaster I know I tend to spend twice as long on those models than I do 28s, so maybe it would be a mistake . .. .
Happy weekend one n all. Great coverage of the Expo folks. really enjoyed! been busy this weekedn getting solidly stuck into my new Moonstone minis. Initial thought was to paint them up just tabletop so myself and the missus could start to play…….. yeah…… that didnt last.. they are just to nice to rush!!
10mm the future?? oh please god no!!! cannae stand the flea scales but each to their own!!
Have a wonderful weekend chaps n chapettes 😀
Happy Sunday all hope this finds you well. 2mm is too small for me but I do like the look of these 10mm dwarves and more so the chaos dwarf army excellent minis have on show over on the site. I’m very tempted with an angry stumpy army. Great golden buttons all ?

Lol nice one Guy’s.
Happy Sunday. Big congratulations to all of the golden button winners, some very fine things to be seen there.
I vaguely recall a beetle black/green ork gargant from an old White Dwarf. Anyway, it will be really interesting to see what colour scheme you use and the approach to painting up some of those large flat panels.
