At last! Thanks you so much for clearing up this major historical oversight. British shipping in WW2 was badly threatened by German underwater vessels called U-boats, which history has erroneously labeled “unterseeboote” – some kind of weird submarine thing with torpedoes and such nonsense.
A more careful review of the facts shows that “U-Boats” stands for “Unsportsmanlike-Boats” – hundreds of cheating little underwater Justins prowling beneath the Atlantic with power drills. 😀
