Wild West Exodus Is Heading To Gen Con!
August 13, 2013 by brennon
Wild West Exodus is heading to Gen Con 2013 and it's bringing with it some fancy miniatures too. Below we have just two of many that will be appearing across the website throughout the week and we even have a little exclusive too!
The first of these two miniatures is Kyle the Black. He is the main surgeon for Dr Carpathian and while it is always on hand to work on the bodies of the dead and dying he can cause a little bit of damage to the living too. I wouldn't want to face off against those deadly armatures.
Next up is US Marshal McClain who employs some more unorthodox tactics when taking on the lawless factions of the Wild West. He will fight for both the Lawmen and the Outlaws and keeps his true identity a secret so he can continue his work. Bad guy or good guy, you decide.
Both of these miniatures are going to be at Gen Con in limited supply and on the webstore at booth 633. Make sure to stop by and grab one if you like the style!
I also mentioned that we had an exclusive and here it is. Above you can see the Blackjack Outlaw Light Support choice. This deadly three wheeler has four machine guns mounted onto the prow and looks like the perfect interceptor vehicle for hunting down loot!
This is just the start and watch out for more as Gen Con closes in!
What do you think so far?
Looking very much forward to seeing the Blackjack. Gutted that I ordered only 3!!! 🙁
I’ve already been dubbed WWX Fan boy of my gaming club, I just cannot wait for the models from the kickstarter to arrive.
How do you think I feel broadside i only managed to get 2!!!
OMFG Frankle. Loadsa hugs are heading your way in the post mate. 😉 hehe. Ii am also a ‘fanboy’ but I just think that credit is deserved where credit is due. The details on the models are just as crisp as the 3D renders which was very suprising as I didnt like the idea of 3D’s up until this point and thouht the best models could only be acieved via sculpting with greenstuff etc. But like everything else, its gone computerised and is better for it, a principle I was set against until a few months ago

Maybe it’s me but I just don’t care for this at all. Doesn’t seem to hold anything that I haven’t seen in some way before and in a better format. I know BOW supports it because Romeo from battlefoam is one of the creators but it’s just not the kick in the crotch I was looking for.
Where have you seen these types of minis Spaderfish? Just curious as I have not and I thought that these was a nice breath of fresh air imho and if there are other minis like these I would like to peruse their catalogue. I don’t think BoW support it for that reason, I think it is more because it has had growing interest on some other forums.
To each his own, But i have to agree with ole’ broadside here. IMO this IS something new and fresh. Like most of you, I have a LOT of mini’s and these do stand out as something different. Plus the idea of high-tech Cowboys makes me all warm and fuzzy.

I have to admit that I know very little about the cowboy and Indian era but because it was an era of real life it sorta draws me in. I have tried the Johna Hex comics, but I couldn’t really connect with it as the stories felt like just a few pictures and it was over before it really got started. Infinity is another range that I like very much, as it seems a bit more plausible to be the future, except the dog faces and antipodes, hehe. Not 100% clued up on all their fluff either, but it does… Read more »
Some models I love, others not so much. I really need to see this takeoff at my FLGS before I buy in though. Malifaux was a flash in the pan but is now returning with 2.0. Infinity has a following. So does FOW and even Battletech every Sunday. Warmahordes is big and WFB and 40k just dominate. I just wonder how thinly you can slice the pie of gaming dollars. Is there enough to go around so that every one can succeed? Or is this just Kickstarter fever?
Whilst I do agree with you to a point @liono, I have to say that if everyone waits for someone else to make a move, then tuings can vet stale fast and you will be stuck playing the same game again and again, not that that is a problem if you really enjoy it. Why not just get the rule book and proxy models for a while first? If you all chip in togather it could cost as little as a couple of quid each. 🙂 The quality of the models sold me as I prefer to paint and model… Read more »
I’m going to make sure I pick these guys up, considering I’ve already bought EVERYTHING else in the game (well, except for the Union Rail). So many shinies!
