A Happy Weekender to you all Cogs and Cogs to be. The Dwarf Jarl on show from Infamous JT is a fantastic offering and that hound is packed with character I’m really looking forward to this fantasy range. Nice to see a new WW Exodus set and look forward to you having the guys from Warcradle back in the studio hopefully with a Lost World update.
Do people really bring all that stuff to Rpg’s? I had a few dice and a character sheet usually on the back of an envelope
Any bets how quickly Colin Patten sells this range off?
It’s the Weekend!
The downside of a weekend is it means that a new week is not far away.
all hope is lost, i am not 1st on the weekender… wait what is this? Hope regained for i see “THE GREATEST MOVIE EVERMADE”
Since the launch of 5th edition, they have done alternative covers for most of the books however those three books in that set are going to be more expensive than getting the individual books and the Multiverse book will be available by itself. The launch of the new edition in 2024 is to celebrate its 50th anniversary of the game, they also announced three classic settings will be revised next year along with some other books and some more classic settings and new ones coming before 2024. You missed a large announcement from the news this week which was Free… Read more »

I meant on the news section of the show I know it was on the page.
Another weekly tutorial from Prof Gerry and the gang greatly received, with a different intro than normal… it really did need a Gerry voiceover for greater impact ??. Something different for Indie of the week this time – which is interesting, but yes the D&D stuff is cool as I guess it will tie in with the 50th anniversary of the game? (I think that’s coming up soon… or am I that old?) The Printed Obsession sculpts look fantastic. Looking forward to Sunday’s CoGs presentation… ?

Anyone interested in the Warring States period, there is a TV show on Netflix called King’s War which is set just 11 years after that period at the collapse of the Qin. It will give you a flavor of the military from the period as they hadn’t changed and some of the characters in the series fought during the Warring States period. King’s War (Netflix, China) also known as Legend of Chu and Han, is a Chinese television series based on the events in the Chu–Han Contention, an interregnum between the fall of the Qin dynasty and the founding of… Read more »

@avernos Good catch on the ancient Chinese for the Three Kingdoms period info. I might be able to toss a couple other obscure finds regarding Asian armies that might be of interest to add to the encyclopedia in your head of miniature goodness. @lloyd My Arabian Knights are already a SAGA AoM army project in progress. I would gladly see your development of a force. I have yet to put in my flying carpet rider (Lieutenant) down for the Great Kingdoms options but I have my war machine standing by after quite a few other things. There could be more… Read more »
A fine show as always, folks. Wild West Exodus is tempting but I would probably have to travel 150 miles round trip to find another player and I seem to have dropped down the Deadzone rabbit hole after introducing the youngsters to my Ultramarines and Star Breach…should be fun.
Again, another entertaining hour, but is anyone else longing for a Warren discourse on history or science? God bless the big fellow.
