Wrath of Kings Week: Welcome To The World of Arikania
January 30, 2017 by dignity
We kick off our Wrath of Kings week with Dave Taylor and Bryan Steele of Cool Mini Or Not introducing us to the five kingdoms of Arikania and the factions that vie for power within them.
Watch Wrath of Kings Week
They tell us how sibling ambition and rivalry has torn the continent apart in conflict with each of their noble house's mastering different forms of magic and technology to achieve their goals.

Looking forward to this! Been eyeing the game for a while now…
The artwork for this game is beautiful – looking forward to seeing the mini’s. Vampires and Werewolves has stoked my interest for this game… Looking forward to the week ahead….
Love the art work, just started painting up my KS pledge
Excellent! I love the insight into the kingdoms themselves. It gives players an idea of the nature and mentality of the peoples of those kingdoms, by allowing us to see how the world has shaped them and how they have shaped their world. There wasn’t much of this in the first book (which I love) but it did give a good insight to the character of the peoples of this world I thought.
I’m definitely looking forward to this week!
We had a conversation about Wrath of Kings on Thursday night during our regular mgame night. This content is extremely timely.
Yes, I have been waiting for this! I don’t have anyone to play this with locally but have managed about 5 games after some travel lo
I’m in the same boat, hopefully this means a push from CMON and more people picking it up.
Me and at buddy bought this 2 player starter set it’s a great intro to a really good game played a demo at last years salute and loved it, starter set comes with everything you need great models sat cards tokens and rule book,we have since added a couple of extra units each and it’s always a great game, plus very balanced between the two factions, also a bargain at around £45
This vid is a really good insite into the world and it’s history, plus those artworks of the cityscapes are beautiful.
Pigmen! Gotta be a Pigman army.
Sharky Dudes all the way !!!
Great looking game – love the unusual factions and cool mechanics. Will definitely consider this !
have been eying this game for a while, so looking forward to this weeks content. the artwork is great and im liking the fluff so far
Does anybody know where to get “Rising Conflicts” & the “Book 1 Premium Card Set” in Europe?
This is one of the kickstarter i was able to resist, barely.
Great art, and a bit of a wider view. The Hydaross and Teknis are the two I find interesting.
I have looks at the different army and i like the pig faction the TechNess looks great !!
I am looking forward to the rest of the week. This video had me interested in learning more about this game and world.
liking the vampire and the mask factions
I love the models.
Always loved the ‘off kilter’ races for this, and still have boxes of Hadross from the original KS to work on. Looking forward to this expanding, good rules (had problems believing they are so tight when I originally read them), and beautiful models.
I need more fish men (and Pigs, gotta have pigs)
You had me at “enormous trapped-elemental turbine gubbins”.
Ihave just about all of Goritsi, a reasonable amount of Teknes, a bit of Shael han and a starter box of Nasier. No Hadross at all. Oh and I have the hardback rulebook.
This week is going to be legit, can’t wait to see it all unfold.
Looks like an interesting game, and another to add to the already long list of games I fancy trying….
I’ll be staying with you guys all week to keep an eye on this. Very cool looking game.
