We have a lot of good stuff to talk about from the tabletop world this week and can't wait to hear what you have to say as we look ahead to some special stuff in 2020.
Updates - Get Hobbying With Star Wars
Some updates for you first off where we're going to be running a Hobby Challenge over the Christmas break. All you have to do is paint, game or basically do anything which is related to Star Wars over the holiday period and add it to the Projects section on OTT.
Just tag your project with Star Wars Hobby Weekend and you'll be entered to win yourself a cool Clone Wars Starter Set and perhaps some other goodies when we come back from Christmas!
Talking of Clone Wars, we have to make sure we give a little shout out to Asgard Wargames from over in England who helped us out with a few extra boxes we needed for the Hobby Weekend. Make sure to check them out.
Finally - make sure you go and check out said Star Wars Legion Hobby Weekend that we played out last weekend and dive in, checking out some of our videos and Warren's new Ewok army!

I understand why they dont do it but it would be nice if Battlefront could just issue A German book,A Soviet book etc that just covered the entire war
Or at the very least one army book per period (early / mid / late war).
I dislike how 4th edition has become this ‘collect them all’ thing with so many tiny booklets.
1st, 2nd and 3rd editions were exactly the same as the shelf behind me attests to. 4th edition has not changed how they structure their business model
One for Lloydy – it is a series featuring Cassian Andor & K2-SO and not a movie. I gather it is going to start filming soon
They did have an issue during the writing stage where I believe they got rid of the showrunner or at least added in the person that sorted out problems they were having with the direction of Rogue One. Memory says that was Tony Gilroy, but I can’t be arsed looking it up.
Tony Gilroy was the chap who tidied up Rogue One. Would make sense wo have at least someone on the creative side who was involved in the film that introduced Cas & Kay.
25:25 Justin did say B1! You lot ain’t listening right! 😉
B1?. That’s a banana isnt it?
You’re thinking of chequita
In Return of the Jedi as Lloyd said they did destroy the falcon and changed it but also Harrison Ford wanted to be killed off in Jedi but George didn’t want it and the other change was the title, as it was originally going to be called Revenge of the Jedi however George said Jedi’s don ‘t do revenge thus it got changed however some of the figures got the packaging with Revenge on.

he wanted to be killed in Empire, hence the frozen in carbonite because they weren’t sure he was going to be back.
This is also what I have heard. Hence the Carbonite Freezing plot line. If the contract with Harrison Ford didn’t work out between V and VI, options were open for the Han Solo character returning or not. Hedging your screenwriting bets, I suppose.
Another part of that whole “Revenge” vs. “Return” of the Jedi … 1982 saw the release of Star Trek II which was very good and popular … and it was originally GOING to be titled “The Revenge of Khan.” Lucas chose not to follow up in 1983 with another sci-fi movie with “Revenge” in the title. Changed to “Return” (possibly also because of other reasons people have mentioned) but by then Paramount / Harve Bennett had changed Star Trek II to Wrath of Khan anyway.
I saw some ‘Revenge of the Jedi’ posters get auctioned off at Christie’s circa 2005. It was quite a double take at the time.
51 hours in the foam mines this week on the overnight shift but I just wanted to stay awake long enough to say
Happy Weekend!!
