Welcome to The Weekender! This time around we've got an exclusive look at an awesome new painting book from Angel Giraldez and we'll be chatting about the brilliant Metropole Vehicle Boxed Set from Antenocitis Workshop designed for Infinity!
As well as that we'll be talking about our upcoming Gaming Awards & Survey along with an update on the Game Designer Challenge and how that's going so far!
Also, laser cutting, pretty awesome right now isn't it! Check out the awesome Transport Trays shown off by our friend Killian!
Download Killian's free Transport Trays Plans and try laser cutting for your self.
The files are in two formats, SVG which can be opened in any vector drawing program for editing and PDF which is easy to open for viewing and is a standard format that can be read by the laser cutters used in FabLab's.
What are you playing this weekend?
more airbrush content would be great hey
It would be! I can’t get enough of vids showing airbrushing, in fact I seem to spend more time watching people airbrush than actually trying out the techniques 😀
Wow just wow. Some of the stuff that Angel puts out…..
Love Infinity, love its terrain
I have a police car from Antenocitis Workshop and it is excellent
love that mini
I have some of the workshop stuff thru the deadzone ks. Verry nice.
Can I have a 99 with a flake please.
Great piece on laser cutters.
I can’t wait for Third Edition.
That new terrain from Antenocitis looks really good 🙂
Nice terrain! I´m really lloking forward to your 3. edition weeks!
I have lots of the anteocitis stuff, I love it. I use there stuff for infinity or deadzone.
Probably the greatest Weekender ever! It doesn’t hurt that I’ve recently been looking at Infinity and all of the “older” coverage that you guys did – I think that I’ve finally found the game that I’ve been looking for. Definitely going to look at getting hold of Angel’s book, his work is so good that it makes me want to weep at my useless, clumsy painting skills… he must be the Michaelangelo of miniature painting. Or possibly the Raphael… or maybe Donatello… Any chance of seeing Justin and John doing any stuff for the N3 week? They were brilliant in… Read more »
Another get show! I love when you guys talk about infinity and I can’t wait for N3 week, I’m looking forward to that week
I would love to paint as fast as Giraldez, it doesn’t has to be as good as him.
I have to paint a big bunch of miniatures and terrain for the spiel in Essen this munch.
Maybe a inspirational boost might help me?
By the way: go check laughing jack games during the spiel.
Infinity!!!! Come on N3!
FabEpisode…
…shame you didn’t ask Carlos when those of us who pre-ordered Op:Ice back in July via a distributor are going to get it?
Looking forward to more N3 spoilers.
Cant wait to get this A-Z painting book. :)
The stuff that Angel makes is just stunning!
Awesome terrain, and nice idea to use university’s cutters.
Have I mentioned that I was at Angel’s painting faces seminar at GenCon? What’s that? Lots and lots of times? Well I’m going to mention it again lol. I was also in the seminar where he announced the book and will certainly be picking up a copy. Whilst on the topic of painting guides, another of the industry’s great painters, Jérémie Bonamant Teboul, has an indiegogo campaign currently running for his own book. The indiegogo page is in French at the top but if you scroll down you’ll get to an English translation – https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/figopedia?english%3Futm_source=figone Is there a release date… Read more »

Sun Tze is a great mini!
And give us more N3! 🙂
I have yet to play Infinity, but those models make me want to.
I have never wanted to win a comp more in my entire life. Angels painting is amazing. Definitely picking up his book and the 3rd edition rules as soon as they drop.
