First. Can it be?
Hey! Am I first?
Alas, not ?
First in our hearts
Yay weekender time has come to use all.
Happy Weekender
Very much leaning towards the push of pike range. It looks like my gateway into the ECWs. The new character models look great, scaled down versions of the original range warlord offered by the looks of them and why not they are sculpts worth using. Perry remain magnificent and the new ottoman offerings are superb
I’m not a 40k player but I really like the new primarch model and would love to give that ago as a project and I can see it as a model really dominating the tabletop as it’s supposed to, it’s caught my eye
Good evening all. Relax and chill out with another inclusive, invaluable, interesting and informative seminar from Professor Gerry and his eager tutees. Thank you for the motivational boost for the weekend… now where are my paints and brushes? Spring Cleaning here I come… ????
Great to see you all again guy’s.
It’s the Weekender! Let the Weekend Hobby Fun Times begin! ??? For some reason seeing the ‘World War III Team Yankee – Warsaw Pact Starter’ makes me want to grab it and the USA pack (or equivalent there of) and dive back into Team Yankee. Not sure what I’ll pick to do for ‘Spring Cleaning Challenge’. The Peter Pig stuff looks great. I really am tempted by the armored river boat from the ACW era. I did a research paper on those ships. Just about anything the floated at that time was armored if it was deemed important enough. I… Read more »
I’m waiting for Warhammer 40k Summer of Love… where the hippies protest war and give peace a chance.
In the grim darkness of the far future, be sure to wear a flower in your hair.
They will likely do the the 40k rules app for free, but any specific army rules locked and unlockable with a code in the codex. Like they do in Age of Sigmar 3rd edition.
If they are doing a full beastmen faction for 40k, I would be all over that.
I am not liking the look of the new Kroxigors, but the rest of the new lizardmen look great! ?
Loving the Ivya Volga miniature! ?
Is the space marine chap with the winged helmet an Asta-Astartes-rix?
I’m not very much into 15 mils, but Peter Pig make good stuff and a LOT of it !
There really is a LOT of it
Thanks for the show. Looking forward to 10th edition. I have really cut back on my 40K as I have not been a 9th edition fan. I have played “By Fire and Sword” since its initial kickstarter. I also play ECW “Musket and Pike” with 15mm; great rule set. Although basically the same time period, two different types of warfare. BFS is more fluid as the armies had a greater dependance on mounted mobility given the vast areas campaigns covered. Someone said it, but to underscore, command is critical in BFS as a victorious initial attack can get out of… Read more »
I love the box art and don’t agree with plain boxes. Warlord has done some boxes with camo and just a sticker on the front. But a collector like me puts every box in the catalogue at LastDodo. There you can see the boxes that collectors form all over the world have enter in the catalogue. The Airfix collection is far from complete but just to see the different boxes and art I love it. I have enter boxes from Warlord games and the change a box makes over time is something people should be able to see because boxes… Read more »
Loving the Lion
Loved all the big news from adepticon ! Can’t wait to hear you guys talk about it.
I’ve been out of the 40k cult for a few years, last time I played properly was 5th edition, with some dabbling in 7th when a friend tried to assure me the rules were much better (they weren’t) Despite having no faith in GW to write decent 40k rules, dark angels were my first army, way back 27 years ago at the tender age of 10. I played them until I was 17 almost exclusively, so the return of the Lion brings my younger self a lot of joy. And I have to wholeheartedly disagree with @dignity, he looks fantastic,… Read more »
So many good Kickstarters right now, my head is spinning. I thought I was going to go with the Battletech one, but the page is abysmal at flagging costs for addons like the AlphaStrike set if you’re a newbie.
10th to get it right? Righttt… If they keep the phases and ‘I go you snore’ turn sequence it’s still the same game…
I would like to see them do alternate activation but they won’t, alas.
I really like the Lion model… except for the detachable helmet wings when the hood is up. I know it shouldn’t, and it’s not as if i would ever be swapping helmets but it breaks it for me. And it shoudn’t, which is annoying me. The issue will never come up, but i can’t get it out of my head. Lion [lowering his hood]: “It is I the Lion returned from whatever I have been retconned to be doing.” Asmodai: “Lies and Blasphmey! Our beloved Primarch had wings upon his noble helm! He is a false Angel and one of… Read more »
Not going to start 40K, but will look at the rules!
