Those shelves need less Pathfinder 😉
Also, when Justin and John are finished, please put them in a boat and send them down to Cornwall. They might finally be able to help me get my hobby cave / home office organised and my wife won’t help me because of all the big-ass spiders out here!
Yeah, if you need help making space I’ll PM you my address to send gaming stuff to 😉
Busy day ahead there guys….re the gaming room careful with whatever treatments you put on the walls. You mentioned about using audio conditioning in your other sets I’m guessing to dampen reverberations in the room. If you treat the walls with tin to give it a bunker look your gonna get an awful lot of sound waves bouncing round the room and that could make recording challenging. Out of what you said @Warzan I would say the polystyrene tiles would probably be the most neutral for sound purpose’s they can be painted up as well if your after a certain… Read more »
I thought the same thing for second, but then I figured that the guys know what they’re doing – anyone that uses a phrase like “audio conditioning” has got to know what’s what.
Then, I started to wonder what corrugated tin sheets would do to the sound. I mean, sure, the sound’s going to bounce off it like nobody’s business, but would the corrugation throw it off into directions that make it work?
Its been a while since I did my acoustics module but it’s more the material I was thinking of yes the corrugated surface will help to diffuse and break up the sound waves but think how resonance a piece of metal can be plus it would have to be battoned and therefore it will have some void space between it and the walls. Probably won’t be so much of an issue as your not dealing with low frequency sound waves so much. The human voice is around 4khz which also happens to be the resonance frequency of the human ear… Read more »
I love seeing the growth of BOW. The quality of shows has continued to improve over the last couple years that I’ve been a back stagger. I look forward to seeing the content and quality increase going forward. Keep up the good work.
Lloyd! Thank you so much for getting a shoulder rig! I nearly wept when I saw the steadiness of the shot!
Next step; a MOVI, a Drone and a couple of C100’s and you guys will be making movie quality videos! haha
HOLY MOLY a supernatural camera! How did Warren get a picture of himself and LLoyd!?
Always love a good vlog, keep up the good work and keep then coming.
Did I hear Drpflt? If so, then I am super (!!) excited.
@warzan
Just ask MiniWargamingDave some ideas for your new studios. He has done an amazing job on MWG ones, The Ork one is incredible.
I fully intend to lol
Although theme-ing the studios so tightly wouldn’t be a great fit for us (at this stage anyway)
OK, I have seen two updates are already in place but still great to see that you guys are growing and actually doing some proper work 🙂
Great to hear that the “army painter” shop, will get used for something more productive ; )
Great to see BOW borging (is that really a word, maybe assimilating) the entire building
Lol…resistance is futile, your gaming needs will be fulfilled by us….or as pinky and the brain would say next stop the World!!!
This kind of stuff is in my top three reasons why I am a Backstager. I really enjoy the true ‘behind the scenes’ VLOGs.
Liking what I’m seeing. Quick question you say your going to be doing battle reports & such, are those reports going to air? I know you & your crew have talked about your armies for certain games. I have wondered what they look like & how do you handle yourselves in head to head games.
Keep up the good work one & all & I’m looking forward to seeing your vlogs for the up & coming days.
Lovin’ Lloyd’s new rocket launcher setup! lol!
I think the sound proofing for the “locked” room could add to the spaces appearance.
Footfall sound insulation in the UK has a nice square pattern to it! Or maybe something like Deckard’s apartment in Blade Runner?
