Epic Mail Time is a classic name for this segment ?
You are right that UV is a wavelength. While a black light, like the one you have, is UV it is the reddest part of the UV spectrum. Bluer UV would be like the light from an arc welder. It is normally too bright to look at and in fact could damage your eyes if looked at for too long. Likely for safety reasons you’d want to stay with the black light even if it will take longer.
Snail mail ? Is that a thing ?
what would you use instead? Slug mail failed because they have no shell to take the weight of the parcels
African swallows of course.
makes sense, even the heavier packages could be wrapped in a vine and flown between two of them
Could always fox them….
When Sam did a ‘fly by’ of the X-wing board, was anyone else disappointed that he didn’t hold an X-wing mini in front of the camera to make it look like it was flying over the Death Star? 😉
Well I am now lol
Ahem, at least Warren is committed to his beard Justin!
So Warren likes to get snailmail, will have to see if we can get some more sorted out for him. If Justin requires a few more 3D movement trays, just get him to put up a request i
m sure some kind BS can help out.
Looking forward to seeing the 3 Drift tables when youve done them, liking the look of Jerry
s tent
s, you know you guy`s will have to make him a shed full.@warzan you need a 405nm UV light and is it is feeling tacky you haven’t washed it long enough! At work we use a nail varnish lamp from Amazon to cure the resin off, it only requires about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the model. In terms of washing it, are you using that water washable resin or the one that came with the printer. If the one with the printer it needs a good soak in IPA (as strong as you can get). You’ll probably fine a shiny part on the model after curing which… Read more »
@warzan this is the kind of thing we use: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SUNUV-Polish-Curing-Fingernails-Toenails/dp/B06XXVTNT5/ref=sr_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1549045703&sr=8-5&keywords=405nm+UV+lamp
cheers buddy, I know @warzan got the water washable resin specifically to make it as easy as possible.
hey @warzan for some reason my last post on “curing UV light” went missing. So now, again, here is a video link to the team of Adam Savages Tested. A DIY resin cure device.

For makers with SLA 3D printers, Sean shows you how to make an effective UV curing oven for your resin parts! Find the parts list for this build here: http://a.co/a1NsyZe
For X-Wing, if you want to setup something cool. Go to the BGG game specific page and pull down the files for the Trench Run Rules. They have 1.0 and 2.0 rulesets now available.

good to see you have started making more components with the printer guys.
glad you enjoyed the wind up!
just watched the Vlog and I’m chuffed to bits. I can’t wait to get my hands on the tents, hopefully on Sunday when I’m up to spank @lloyd in SAGA. I’m currently finishing off the last of the dip and metallics on the minis and the next couple of weeks will be finishing terrain touched. Including some soyer stoves, just because I can 😉
leave the resin in the sun, elsewise get Cass to smile on them. just a beaming ray of sunshine.
you smoothie you 😉

I always wondered what beasts of war looked like from the perspective of a hobbit. now i know
I am sadly the proud owner of https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00E0O2GF4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04__o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which is a UV nail curer I leave prints in for 5 minutes and done. I chose this one as it has a constant mode so doesn’t turn off after a few minutes. it’s really good but I think I am going to paint it or something as people are asking questions… Seems to work great and if you get two and join them you get a total box and only need a mirror and turntable to put in the middle. The bottom section slides out and there are holes you could… Read more »
