Vikings VS Zombies! A Marriage Made In Hel? Raybox’s Next Zombie-Slaying Board Game #OTTWeekender
August 18, 2023 by avernos
It's OTT Weekender time! Raybox Games might have done it again! Gates Of Niflheim is their next board game they are going to be bringing to Gamefound in 2024 but you can give this zombie-slaying board game a go RIGHT NOW and dive into this awesome Vikings Vs Zombies battle on the tabletop.
Gates Of Niflheim is based on the same system used for Escape from Stalingrad Z and Projekt Riese and is a dungeon-delving board game adventure played out in a ring bound book. Rather than tackling the Weird World War, this time, Raybox Games have gone back to the Dark Ages with Gates Of Niflheim which sees Vikings and Christian Knights battling undead horrors from Hel (Draugr!) that have risen up in ancient tombs beneath a monastery!

Great to see that you are channeling your inner “Benneth Williams” with your ‘Hello0O0o!’
the detail on those lazy forger minis is fantastic. A happy weekender all ?
Yeah, the lazy forger stuff is gorgeous
Vikings and Zombies two races the world can do without, add Ben voice over then the life can be at piece.
Harsh haha
It’s the Weekender!
The Birthday Hobby Weekend Begins!!! ?? ???
Hi weekenderers.
Lol @avernos is AquaSquirrel ?
Can’t be worse than the recent DC debacles
Warpath in 10mm?
I thought they said 15mm before.
I love 15mm (1:100). It is just big enough to still get some great detail in the models.
I think 10mm will be to small for my liking.
But we’ll see.
Worth watching Gerry’s interview where they go over the ideas they are thinking about. Was up on Thursday 🙂
Try stroking it @avernos ?
ok doing as i was told but……..not really………….. not an entry
Kama is the name your looking for @avernos . I use one in the garden.
cheers, it came to me on the live stream. It’s torture to know the name and not remember it
I know it’s an every day occurrence for me but it’s still astounding though the amount of information that you can store away in the dark recesses of your mind.
Fab show guy’s.
Bens inner Dwarve coming through. Most women don’t have beards
lol
They sprout out the ground too, right?
Weekender time
I’ve always thought the Wargames Survey was inherently biased towards historicals and it’s nice to hear someone say it. The questions feel written by someone who only plays historicals. The incentives to enter anre mostily historical. The people running it are historically oriented. The data gathered cannot help but skew that way. I bet it shows a far larger percentage of players favour historical than is true. It might be interesting to see what changes in results they might get if they partnered with a fantasy/scifi biased publication for next years survey. I enter every year anyway, eben though I… Read more »
Yeah it’s interesting seeing if there will be any shift this time around
unfortunately there is no sci-fi/fantasy publication out there
The Full Spectrum Dominance new faction looks ace.
The Union are looking super cool – more to come!
Vikings….
