Maybe its just me but why would you have this when most people are at work in Europe or still in bed or just getting up in North America?
Because it’s work for them too and they do it during work hours? 😉 Have fun people, I’ll be in the road at that time.
I also have a hard time getting off from work for live streams. 7PM BST is 2PM for us, square in the middle of our work day.

if they had attacked and won in Africa its a straight run for the oil in Iran ? plus the do get Romania.
I think if that had happened the Soviets might have thought it important enough to try and intervene in Iran and maybe some of the Indian Army sent to the oil fields as well. Im also not sure if German forces could have reached and held the oilfields with such a long supply line given they didn’t control the Mediterranean

I have to say that Historians in the West really need to revise the start date of the Second World War(as Commodore Rob pointed out). I don’t see why it shouldn’t be with the Japanese Invasion of Manchuria?
Well, to be fair, I suggested in the stream (and often take the position) that the date should be moved back to 1937. There are actual legal reason to do this. The treaty (i.e., international law) that officially ends the war and recognizes nationalist China as a combatant, the trials of Japanese war criminals that included offenses committed during the 1937-40 invasion of China (establishing legal precedents for “World War II war crimes”), etc. So I would definitely support that. Interesting thoughts, I particularly like the element of political complication. At the time I think that there was constant horse trading and “discrete” communication that is the norm between nations, and at the time felt normal as differing Countries jostled for power and changed treaties as developments occurred, with an healthy level of hedging their bets. For me the argument that 37 the Second World War was in place, seems pretty concrete, but I need to learn more about the earlier stuff.

No worries at all @brucelea . Yep, we have more than one option for the campaign map now staged and pretty much ready to go. My LRDG force is in the UK and en route to BoW studios. 😀 Also getting ready for Panzer Leader, if this is still something you’d be interested in. I’m making up some deluxe oversized desert boards and “desert themed” DAK, Italian, and UK/CW counters.
Well up for that and it sounds like Justin could be interested too.

No need to apologize, just non-content constructive criticism.i think you have the benefit of a headset mike, while they are dealing with varying audio of the tabletop mikes.
@foehammer888 – no worries. Yes, I had a headset mike, but …
1) I have a lifelong condition in my throat that screws up my voice.
2) We have to Skype call these interviews over a shaky internet.
3) That feed than goes through OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) for broadcast into Twitch.
4) That’s after it goes through whatever tools / software the guys have at the studio for their mikes channels and my Skype audio channel.
So yeah, Audio issues are always something we go through in these interviews, whether they’re for Weekenders, Themed Weeks, or Live Streams. 🙁
