Okay, I didn’t see the point of this tool until now. I especially like the effect you achieve with the ridges perpendicular to each other.

These are the best tools ever! I love mine slightly too much at the moment. One tip Thomas Mennes gave me at the 40k weekend was to actually use a piece of wire inside of your tentacle… so form your sausage around a piece of flexible wire and then roll it leaving two bits of wire at each end. Gives you a little more support and can be help for bending and attaching it to things. I hope that makes sense. You know that horizontal method makes it look a hell of a lot like a steel cable, which would be useful for any terrain making. Not sure how steel cable would be useful for the models themselves but I’m sure some smarty pants has figured it out
Looks like something a pharmacist use to use to make pills.
I like that, my man, that’s a good idea.
Oldschool method of acquiring similar results was using a comb, but GSW tool is SO much more comfortable that it is no more any competition.
Looks a kraken system occupying some time making tentacles powerlines an steel rope to name a few.
