NIce going guys, looks a good size space. Not many people have a studio in their back garden 🙂
The space is ample, to be fair we could always use more space, but the purpose of this studio is not to be our final studio, but the core studio that regardless of what life throws at us we have a space that we own at the heart of Beasts of War. Myself and @lloyd think it’s better to go for something slightly smaller than the space we could rent (studio is costing us equivalent of 1 years rent) but as somewhere we own. Nice looking start to the job. I’d say it helped with loosing a few of those Christmas pounds. 🙂
As I say it looks well but a vigilant eye will need to be kept throughout to make sure the trades arrive and that it will be kept within budget I have full confidence though.

I feel a tad guilty sitting here drinking my tea, seeing an update like this, however it has given me an idead to do a gaming “shed” carry on chaps!!
Thassa big shed. And didn’t you guys say that you’d picked one out specifically for height of the ceilings? I’m surprised you got building permission for it… maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned that!
I’m amazed you’re able to fit 4 studios in that space. – I’m guessing none of them would have a 6′ by 4′ table for demo games? Would you be doing them in your other spots?
4 sets, not studios, if you think about it the unboxing/painting set will be one of those and it’ll be relatively small next to any game demo set, then they’ll likely have a green screen in a corner for OTT or other shenanigans, and the main space will be taken up by the stripper pole.

Not all sets have to be big, and we’re brainstorming on how to make the main set a bit more modular.
And as always we plan on 8ft tables 😉

Lookin good. Now will Studio One be where you do your videos and such? Or will this be for special projects? Sorry if this was answered already, I haven’t been following the development of Studio One.
Studio One is for most of our core stuff, other stuff with manufacturers etc will be recorded in Nottingham, but FOWFTW with @lafayette for example will be created in Studio One
If you build it, they will come… Ughhh, sorry, couldn’t resist 😛
