I think the battle damage looks great, that’s definitely job done. Is this AT-AT one of the troop carrying variants? If it is, then you could save some time by leaving some of the interior spaces open. From Wookiepedia: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/All_Terrain_Armored_Transport/Legends “The AT-AT’s troop section could typically carry five speeder bikes, up to forty troops normally comprising Imperial stormtroopers or Imperial land assault troopers[5] in a double-tiered passenger section, and heavy weaponry, such as E-Web heavy repeating blasters.[9] The AT-AT could also variably hold two All Terrain Scout Transports (AT-ST) in lieu of soldiers in a rear vehicle bay,[5] though they… Read more »
Should have read this before I posted 😛
Here is a good cross section for you, just incase you want to go far too accurate…
Also, the back area is speeder bike storage! Who knew!
There have been a couple of posts with diagrams and layouts, so my next question would be what you are going to do with the handle behind the neck? Are you going to remove the handle and use a filler plate or add cutaways and fill them with bits and bobs?
Cheers for the links. Some interesting info there.
Very cool! Getting pumped for Legion!!!!!
So, @johnlyons, any regrets now sending the Hoth table to the States never to be seen again? Any idea if it will make an appearance at Adepticon for the Legion release?
loving the battle damage you should do some to the legs that the best place to take it out I would think?
Can’t wait to see the wiring and piping. I like your ideas and I believe they will look great!
I really like the look of the blow torch cuts now. Excellent job. The glancing hit also looks great. I am not the greatest fan of the penetrating hits. They look quite artificial. Ok shooting armor plates with hugh laser is quite aritifical, but nevertheless. May be I like it more with some paint. A problem I have is, when the two kill shots hit the thing from the front, why did it fall to it’s right? Should it not just drop to the front (like the one in Empire http://www.starwarss.de/media/at-at2.JPG )? Was it standing on uneven ground? Or should… Read more »
i think the jawas would have stripped a real at-at quicker than john can do a toy one :p
