Sneak Peek At New Multi-Part Resin Terminator Prototypes!
April 10, 2015 by brennon
The guys at River Horse have given us a preview of something extra for the Terminator Genisys Miniatures Game coming out this summer. See what you think of the render prototypes for the multi-part resin Endos that will be available for veteran wargamers to expand their main boxed game...
I Want Your Guns...
Weapon and build options for the Endos will include a Flamethrower, Rocket Launcher, Commander, and Twin Guns (the 'cowboy') as well as basic weapon options too.
These have been in the pipeline to give some extra options to veteran wargamers wanting something more from the Terminator Miniatures Game and a more expansive experience. They will compliment the existing snap-fit and glue-less Endos that you get in the base set so there's no need to worry there.
The Boxed Game
Don't forget there is the original game that forms the starting point for this game too...
The set contains...
- Full-colour rulebook: 128 pages
- Exclusive metal Kyle Reese model (brings special abilities, command options and heroic feats)
- 10 Terminator Endoskeletons (Two different posses, advancing and… relentlessly advancing!)
- 5 Terminator Crawlers (You thought the ENDO was done?!)
- 16 Resistance Soldiers (with a selection of weapons from missile launchers to plasma rifles!)
- Quickstart rules: 16 pages
- 2 punchboards: Includes all the scenery, tokens and gaming aids needed to play!
- 1 full colour double-sided 2’x3′ gaming mat
- 1 full-colour double-sided rules reference sheet
- 13 colour-coded dice: 2 sets of D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20
- 1 custom made metal colour Fate die
...which comes with the full colour rulebook alongside the additional metal Kyle Reese model. There is of course the basic 'Quick Start' version too which you can read about in more detail HERE.
What do you think of multi-part resin Endos?

Having options is good but I have the sneaking suspicion most people wanted the T800’s a smidgin larger than they appear to be from the preview of the boxed game.
so what that, they look great
agree with the size issue the T800’s should be bigger than the resistance troops
Not to argue with preferences, but if the T800 was larger than the troops, wouldn’t they be easier to spot as infiltrators?
“Hey, we’re all starving. By the way, did you see the new guy? He’s freaking huge! Oh, and the dogs don’t like him.”
“Sounds like a nice guy. Let’s let him take care of the pre-school.”
That’s why I said smidgin – just a teeny weeny bit bigger.
I want to know more about the game and whether there will be some of the larger Skynet vehicles and weapons available.
I do not know about this thing. I really like the old Terminator movies (who in their 30:s dont?) but I do not think that the movies translates well into figures…. to much plain metall, I think?
Still looks cool, I am sure I will pre-order when it is available.
From the Warlord games news letter
Terminator Genisys: The War Against the Machines includes a 128 pages rulebook that allows you to explore every game possibility; starting from the contents of the box but allowing you to expand with the upcoming range of heroes, commanders, troop types and vehicles expected during the year ahead. We will keep you well informed about all these new exciting releases.
so it looks like vehicles are in the pipeline.
Sorry but they look absolutely hideous just take a look at Prodos’ Exterminator and look at all the detail there, these just look plain and flat.
from what i can tell lots of detail was lost from render to actual miniature ..
These are renders of alternate models. Not the items from the starter set. These are not the glueless build models…..
You had me at Multi-Part Resin but wow… I just felt a pain in my wallet… again.
You know, these make me wonder if it might work to get the endos vacuum metalized for that bright and shiny chrome look
I’m a big termie fan and I just think this is a poor way to put out a game for such a big franchise.

Wallet, prepare thyself for some pain 🙂 . What with Prodos AvP and this, my tv / movie tie in games collection will definitely expand as my poor wallet shrinks 🙁 .
I’m sorry to say Kantor that you should save your money for AvP, even do Prodos has had problems releasing the project due to signatures from Fox. The game is 100 times better than this so called Terminator game.
Pleeeeeeeeaseeeeeee come on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is not even close to a good game, looks like a mix from old Terminator figures and old Army men ( the ones that came in a bucket )
Really cheap.
