Mike and Rufus from Firelock Games are in the studio to take Justin through a round or two of Oak & Iron.
Sailing into the wind, rake shots, formations and all the nitty-gritty in between are covered in this round breakdown by Mike. Justin takes control of a few French vessels against Rufus and the might of the Spanish. The question is can Justin repel any boarders on his ships?

While I like Black Seas, it is the historic based rules which is why I love Oak & Iron and why I went for an Admiral Pledge. I hope the deluxe rulers look as good as in the video. I have read through the rules twice and printed them out so can’t wait for the pledge to arrive.

I like pretty much all Sailing Ship Games, but ‘Firelock Games’ is my boyz! Mike really gets what’s needed for diehard players to get in the zone of the old ships feel and flavor.

I love all the context elements in the game such as the pre maneuvers and scenario selection..
Also love the precision of the game with the acrylic bases and the special movement templates…
