First, am I still playing this silly game
It’s only silly if you let it be silly 😉
Well said if you enjoy a game and it’s fun it’s not silly.
I think Tactical First is still first even when he’s late
you win 🙂
also… “Just to be mean” THE GAME XD
Dang it! Second again!
It’s the Weekender! Hobby on my fellow Gamers…. ??
Wonderful stuff this week. I do think I need the St. Patty @avernos miniature.
Without causing to much fuss, can anyone point me to a comprehensive look at resin printers. Just received a bonus from work and have decided to plunge into the resin printing. I already have an fdm printer. Looking for a miniatures printer now but weighing the large high rez verses large build plate. Thanks all.
Looking forward to next week’s Saturday event, really enjoyed Gerry’s Zulu event!
Hello all… settle down. Are you sitting comfortably? Run VT… ??
Loved the review of Mithril Miniatures. I guess these badgers will be in @brennon wish list?https://mithril.ie/miniatures/miniatures-by-race/lord-of-the-rings-creatures/ms297-tom-bombadil-and-the-badger-folk-metal-vignette/ Also didn’t realise there was a link to Prince August – I’ve got a load of those moulds when we used to melt down lead! A great tutorial again from Prof @avernos. ???
Those are amazing 🙂
if it isnt weekender time then i am not a Taco eating gimp watching the greatest movie ever made.
With St Paddy’s Day hangovers in mind, please can Gerry announce the indie of the week next time 🙂
I won’t be here, cause Paddys
Oh piss. I’ll keep a firm hand on the volume control
I think free would make a great phantom flan flinger
I am not against this…
sad news 4Ground is apparently closing down (and having a sale till June)

I’d say those Crooked Dice figures should be entirely painted in shades of grey, so you get the effect of a black and white serial.
That would be impressive!
Yay its weekender time Folks.
yes the Silmarillion is not the easiest book to read.
@zorg I found it difficult to finish the ‘Unfinished Tales’… ???
not tried them yet.
It’s like Stephen Hawkings books. There could be sudoko and dot to dot puzzles and back issues of the Bash St Kids after the first 20 pages and no one would ever know
Lol.
Food Fight miniatures. Heroes and villains afflicted by the terrible curse unleashed by the foolhardy use of that most evil of arcane cookbooks – the Gastro-nom-nom-nom-icon.
or a tank of fuel prices Gerry?
Elessar is not the twig…
Have you not read the books?
nope, I tried and they were shite
If I was getting a Smaug i would try for the Weta one.

Mithril look interesting, nice sculpts
the bird shit on Radagast is anti spider camo?
Good to see you looking more your old self @warzan
The Rocket man was also Commander Cody in the Republic serial Radar men from the moon
The 7TV stuff looks like it woukd fit in with Hydra miniatures nicely
three men its a OTT quest?
Do they get a boat?
Gerry won’t he could do Gulliver an tow an army behind him?
A good one guy’s.
I have LOTS of Mithril, they are, in my opinion, the miniature range that probably comes the closest to what Professor Tolkien may have had in mind when he wrote his books. And they’ve been around for a long time – 70s or 80s, I think.
got the license in 87 I believe so 35 years it’s a hell of a catalogue
Got quite a few of the Mithril minis. Have some of their moulds too for casting generic dwarves, elves and a chess set from back in the day.
The Grenadier LOTR minis were pretty good too.
Those molds are Prince August, Mithril’s sister company.
I have a hand full if Mithril, released back in 88′. Still wearing the first paint.
I was trying to hold off buying any new models until I’d caught up a bit on current projects this year, but I got sucked into the new Kill Team box and now with the upcoming Tyranid codex that idea is completely out the window.
