The End Times… the weekend times.
Thankfully the weekend times aren’t as devastating as the end times was on Warhammer.
Actually I was referring to world we live in… there was an apocalypse in march… we may all be in purgatory… or maybe it just feels like that some days.
the weekend begins. this is how to start the weekend.
It’s the Weekend!
I had a close look at that pop-up terrain, but wasn’t convinced it was dense enough for infinity (nor has right aesthetic). It’s also a bit pricey…
The weekend starts now.
Just starting painting my 15mm (150%) 3d printed undead from Forest Dragon and watching the weekender. 🙂
I woukd recommend filing ultra cast with an old file
Yay to the weekender show.
That mat sure looks brilliant.
It’s been a Halloween all year has it not Ben?
Justin by the power of baldskull.?
Doom bar ale is great.
Just shared you guys with my local gaming club. I know a few of them have heard of you but we had a surprising big influx of new people during the first lockdown.
Thanks for the share 🙂
Wow that pop-up terrain looks brilliant.
Its the Weekender… Time to get my Hobby on!
@warzan I would use the ‘City Ruins Mat by PWork Wargames’ for Marvel Crisis Protocol and use the Construction Terrain Set on top of it. Would look fantastic!
Nice bit of planning!
Crumbs… it’s the weekend again! That week went fast… ?? Stay safe in Lockdown 2.0… Xmas is not far away ??? I’m looking forward to the Necromunda Phyrr Cats release and one day receiving my limited edition Sargeant Ripper (still being processing by GW), finishing off my entry for Mubraxis Dustdogs Armies on Parade if I can take any half-decent photos by the end of the month… the clock is ticking. ? Oh and I am liking the @warzan meets the mat section… very therapeutic.?
The Creature Caster dragon is beautiful and I can see why it will cost an arm and a leg but probably is a better long-term investment in time and effort and model making enjoyment than perhaps even the new GW Mega Gargant that’s in the same price range? ?
It depends what you’re interested in I guess. The Gargant is a much more gameable piece whereas the Dragon strikes me as a display piece.
I love that Upzone Easy Tabletop Terrain! Thanks for the 20 seconds of fame, and congratulations to all the winners. Have a great weekend guys!
The same to you – get more hobby done!
Everything is great. I’ll take one of each. Dragon and all.
That pop up stuff looks interesting
Bardsung looks good – but I can’t really justify it when I have only just received Altar Quest, which is sitting on the shelf while we work through Zombicide: Night of The Living Dead. I will see if it survives the migration to retail…
We shall see. I think if your dungeon crawler-less then Bardsung might be a good shout but if you’ve still got something massive to play, maybe waiting is the best idea as you say
The pop up Terrain is such. Good idea Ive been watching the kickstarter. Warren Meets mat is always great.
A GW box set of models that I swoon for. The thing of it is that Medusa might give all the Morathi forces a run for their money with her luxurious tresses. Now, considering the Lucid Eye sculpts I’m sure that there could be some conversion sculpting with greenstuff to rival their fabulous coifs (gettin’ fancy words on the thread now).
I have seen some excellent looking painting of the Daughters Of Khaine and Heralds Of Pain and they are a very enticing army.
I had a few of the Elf King Red minis arrive in the post a few weeks ago. They are really nice sculpts, and I’m very much looking forward to painting them up. Lucid Eye’s Ziggurat range also really appeals to me.
They really are very nice! One day I’ll get back to painting the mass of hero miniatures I snapped up from Lucid Eye a few years back.
YAAAASSSS! For Lucid Eye minis. I have a lot of their stuff. Some of it is even painted! Love love love Lucid Eye!
Shadowy pain for the win
Happy weekender folks, how are we all?
Edit: Gotta love the weekender with Warren its not the same without him.
That pop up terrain is genius and exactly the sort of thing we need. however I fear that while it holds minis under laboratory conditions, it’ll fail in real life once its seen a dozen games, been shoved in a few bags and has a little wearon it, and some clumsy gamers have put a few metal minis on it. I expect it to start to bow and then buckle. I want to be wrong. It just doesn’t look durable. I’m curious to see them design a range for infinity. That was all for 40k. Infinity is much more dense… Read more »
