Let’s Play: Forge Of Destiny – How To Play
February 12, 2018 by dignity
Pavel from New Destiny Games is in the studio to play a demo game of Forge of Destiny.
Forge of Destiny is an upcoming Sci-Fi miniatures wargame, played with 32mm miniatures on a randomly generated battlefield.
In this Let's Play, Pavel guides us through the setup and phases of each turn giving players an idea of how the game will play out when it is eventually released on its funding platform of choice.
How do you like this fast-paced gameplay?

The random generated terrain is something i am looking forward to
We really love this part of our game, it makes it even more tactically challenging, simultaneously allowing to avoid one of the sides having full domination over the battlefield simply because of lucky deployment. Also, with the weather and comms conditions in play it gets even more interesting =)
When can wenn get our hands on this Game? I know it is a KS Project so when dies it start 😉
We plan to launch it in March =) Join our FB page – there will be plenty on goodies coming there in the next several weeks!
Very much enjoyed watching this. I’m a big fan of grid-based games, I think it just makes things clearer and flow much faster. The factions also look quite cool, and the range of upgrade options makes it look like there will be a lot of variety.
Thank you very much! We tried to keep the game fast and aggressive, so after several games (and better understanding of the rules) a session usually lasts 35-45 minutes.
