Have you made your own country roads?
I’d suggest a squeeze of rinse aid for the dishwasher rather than Fairy Liquid as you get a lot less bubbles and it does the same thing.

@Lloyd What’s the wallpaper called?
wood varnish may work but from using it for something similar just be careful it doesn’t dissolve your top layer of the paper
Lukes Apps did a great vid on cheap bulk washes – floor polish/matt medium, ditilled water and inks

Last I saw it someone had put it under the sink. It’s in a giant dropper Botterell with klear sharpied up the side of it

You can always make a gauge for the 3″ mark with two pencils to mark the necessary width so you can keep it close to what you need. Imagine a mahl stick, used for oil painting, that you affix the pencils on with rubber bands.

I’ve had success with roads by just using spray paint. If you just dust with it, you can get a highlight sort of effect.
After the paint/wash thing has dried, Lloyd suddenly grew a hat…….
