Para Bellum Wargames has put together an excellent set of new pre-orders for those playing as the Hundred Kingdoms in their games of Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings and First Blood. Get a load of these 35mm Fantasy Imperial Rangers!

The Imperial Rangers were a band of expert woodsmen that were raised during times of trouble and strife within the Hundred Kingdoms. Now, they have been given more powers and find themselves fighting across many different battlefields beyond their native woodlands.
Imperial Ranger Corps - Miniatures // Conquest
They are very aware of the lands that they fight in and this gives them a great advantage over their enemies. Looking at them from a miniatures point of view, I love these! This is another of the new plastic kits from Para Bellum Wargames and the poses and detail here are fantastic. The 35mm scale certainly takes things up a notch and I also very much appreciate that all of these miniatures have an individual feel to them. They look like a band of archers firing at will.
That stunning set of miniatures is also joined by some mounted fellows from The Order of the Crimson Tower!
Order Of The Crimson Tower Box // Conquest
These knights set themselves apart from other knightly houses in that they have a strict decree that means they will only fight for those who have a legal reason for war, a Casus Belli. They also demand that the armies that they fight for not loot or pillage and this made them unpopular amongst the Hundred Kingdoms' ranks.

For a regiment of knights that look super evil (I think it's all the spikes), they are very gallant! Whilst they might be a pain for a general looking to muster an army for war, their skills as elite warriors outmatch the wealth gained from ravaging the lands of the enemy. Well, that's the hope anyway!
These miniatures really are stunning and I am totally loving the heavy metal barding on these warriors. The crown of spikes atop their helmets also looks fantastic and certainly matches the theme of a tower, their helmets looming high above the fighting.

If you thought those dudes were cool. See what you make of their Priory Commander!
Priory Commander Of The Order Of The Crimson Tower // Conquest
Each of the Orders has its own command structure and the Order Of The Crimson Tower is no different. A Priory Commander is the head of their particular order and has been chosen for their fighting prowess and knowledge of battlefield command. As well as leading knights into battle, they also represent the interests of the Crimson Tower at the round table of Argem.
Another genuinely awesome-looking miniature with a few fun alternative options when building. I think I prefer the sword but that's because swords are awesome! I think the hood with the helmet also works nicely to mark him out as different from his peers on the battlefield.
Last but not least, we have the excellent Errant Of The Order Of The Shield!
Errant Of The Order Of The Shield // Conquest
A grim-looking fellow with a big hammer, mighty shield and a hood is always going to get a tick from me. The Order Of The Shield prowls the lands of the Hundred Kingdoms looking to bring low monstrous foes and more that threaten the populace. However, over the years they have become hunted and their ranks have dwindled (a bit like Knights Templar!). The Imperial Magistrates don't like them but the peasants and the citizens of the Hundred Kingdoms sure do love these folk heroes and gallant warriors.
An amazing miniature with a seriously imposing look to him. I think this chap would be perfect for use in First Blood as a lead character alongside some of those Imperial Rangers we saw before. You could use them as a host of monster hunters on the look for their next challenge.
What do you make of these new miniatures?

Fantastic new figures for the table.
Those look really good.
Oh man, those Rangers look tasty. Might have to grab a box for general uses….
The Order of the Crimson Tower minis are awesome. I like the Rangers too, but (and this is a pet peeve of mine for archers from other companies as well) there are some that look like they’re about to fire an arrow, but the bows are barely bent. It then looks to me as if they’re shooting with an elastic string.
Yup, plus it’s REALLY difficult (dare I say impossible) to draw a bow while kneeling on one knee as some of those minis are posed.
I plan to get a box of Rangers for my general fantasy games. Per the way they are posed, first the artist is going for rule of cool not realistic. Second, this could be a manufacturing consideration. Lastly, the artist may never actually shot a bow themselves and may not know. Your example is but one of things not being realistic but I counsel myself by remembering that these miniatures are nothing but 3D tokens and I need to lower my expectations. Where I have seen the most realistic poses of miniatures has always been in 1/35 museum / fine… Read more »
Two nice sets, had to focus on the knights though, thought the one had an impaled knight hanging of his Lance.
“flee or end up like Dave!”
€60 for 3 cavalry models is quite something. Improvement over the first generation of knights.
Order of the Crimson Tower still making everyone else look bad!
