A New Chapter For OnTableTop: Store Update – We’re Focusing Even More On You!
September 27, 2024 by crew
We’ve got some news to share with you folk! Starting Monday 30th September 2024, OnTableTop is making some changes that will free us up a bit to focus entirely on our core mission, creating great media content and supporting our amazing global gaming community.
We’re transitioning all of our retail operations (including our online store and local gaming centre) to our expert retail team at Wayland Games, Europe’s largest independent retailer of tabletop products.
The OnTableTop Online Store will be completely redirected to the Wayland Games Store which has undergone huge development over the last 3 years and is now a slick and cutting-edge platform. If you have any orders with us before the switchover on Monday don’t worry, all those orders will be fulfilled by us as normal here in Coleraine! All our support emails and numbers will remain live for the coming weeks if you need any help with anything.
The Gaming Centre here in Coleraine is going to become a Wayland Games Centre, with access to all the services and customer support we deliver in our other gaming centres. The physical store is likely to close for a few days as we conduct stock takes and move things around, but it will then fire up and we’ll start implementing lots of new and interesting things for the location over the next weeks and months.
This change in the process means our central retail teams will be able to provide our customers with even more product variety, fantastic customer service, and all the great pricing you’ve come to expect.
This is just one part of bigger moves to consolidate our operations within the larger Wayland Games Group of companies as we relocate our Hockley gaming centre and Group Headquarters to the massive custom-built new location in Brentwood.
This move of the OnTableTop retail operations will take a little time to implement but as time and resources are freed up, we can begin to get stuck into new initiatives for the community that we’re focusing on!
Importantly, for us, it’s all about you - our amazing community. This change means we can put our time and energy into bringing you even more videos, battle reports, hobby content, and community-driven experiences.
We’ve got plans, and we can’t wait to share them with you. We’ll make sure to update you in due course with more information on what we have planned!
If you have any questions regarding your order please don’t hesitate to email us at [email protected]. If you are a customer based in the European Union and wish to know more about how Wayland Games handles your order please visit their EU Shipping Information page. If you have further questions regarding shopping with Wayland Games please visit their FAQ page.
As an additional note, all orders placed with us before this transfer period will be processed and shipped from our existing OnTableTop location.
Thank you for being the heart of OnTableTop, and here’s to an exciting new chapter!

I’m pleased to hear that OTT will be able to focus on the media and community support that it has always been a market leader in. I had a good experience with the Wayland store the last time I used it so can recommend the service they offer. Looking forward to the future.
I only just had a delivery turn up from the OnTableTop store. Didn’t know it would be the last purchase.
If we’re losing the store I hope this frees up time and energy for bootcamps? 🤔
I get why this has come about and in a sense it is a natural conclusion of OTT having been acquired by Wayland a few years back. Is it an exciting new chapter? No not really, it doesn’t offer anything that did not exist before. In fact it offers less as OTT had a certain advantage over all other UK mainland retailers. It is unfortunate to loose this. There are plenty of good suppliers for mainland orders this doesn’t entice me over to Wayland. To the OTT store thanks for the past years, it’s been greatly appreciated. I hope all… Read more »
“The Gaming Centre here in Coleraine is going to become a Wayland Games Centre, with access to all the services and customer support we deliver in our other gaming centres. ” will that mean there will be no more Bootcamps on site?
I get the move and I can very much understand that fulfilling orders takes up a lot of time for the team. Looking forward to the new content!
I’ve always had great service from both the OnTableTop store and Wayland games, both of which have consistently delivery hobby goods in a very speedy and reliable fashion.
I look forward to the Beasts of War team being able to refocus on those things they really excel at, building the best community and sharing their passion and love of the whole hobby even more!
Could we see the return of Bootcamps?
Sounds sensible enough. I imagine the store was originally added to diversify and secure more income for OTT, but with business Daddy able to focus on that, OTT can go back to focussing on the media content.
I think it also helped build/support the local community.
R.I.P the On Tabletop Store, we never could buy merch.
Being from the US, I’m glad to hear that you’ll be able to focus on the media and content side of things. That’s what brought and kept me coming to OTT
Hope this isn’t the beginning of the end for OTT…
Sounds like a very good move, freeing the OTT crew up to do what they do best. Looking forward to seeing what the plans are for the future.
I’m going to miss the free candy and the thank you note that came with orders.
Those were small things, but it’s touches like that made it feel more personal.
Ordering from the UK is simply something I’d rather avoid unless it’s direct from the manufacturer or no other option exists.
Anyways … good luck and thanks for the service you’ve provided since that first shipment.
One thing I would like to see is the return of ‘Turn 8’ or something similar, and maybe seeing the team in a studio once again for the ‘Weekender & the XLBS’ – Make it happen!
I too enjoyed the studio aspect of BOW/OTT prior to ‘the event’. I understand that it made it harder for the team who physically weren’t in the room or just in general to produce and I get that sound quality etc has improved since those days of studio one and before but the backdrops did make it a nice chat show vibe for me.
I have only been conned by one company online -yep WG, charged me twice for a AT box set, swore I’d never use them again and to this day I haven’t-nor will I! I can delete OTT store details now.
Also where do you go to cancel membership on here? As I don’t see the value of being a member tbh , the Friday show is great but this is a bit twee for me I think?
How did WG handle the error when you advised them?
R.I.P. OTT Store🙉🙈🙊
