You don’t count… Well not for any kind of competition anyway! 😉
feel big….nice to be first, especially when you work there and can post it and then comment right away.
not only did I not post it, Lloyd did, I waited 19mins before I commented, so really everyone else are terrible slackers
?
My excuse is that I was still working when the episode was posted and your site is blocked at our underground facility as they seem to think a site with the name ‘Beasts of War’ must be full of unpleasantness that would shock the local natives!
I have spoken with the ‘IT Dept’ and they’re not buy it that the site is full of happy friendly people and harmless plastic.
Well, mostly harmless…………
LMAO!! well played
Another Weekend? So soon?
One thing to say about Mythic Battle:Ragnarok is that after an extra iteration of MB:Pv1.5 the rules and lessons learnt should make this new game a lot smoother in the release and production quality.
Aye – according to Justin, who by his own admission is a bit of a fanboy anyway, they have tightened up the rules and it works reet good.
Good to hear!
Giving away Star Wars: Legion? Did FFG deliver again?
Also: MEINS! GIB! ALLES MEINS!
I know – it’s a modern-day miracle. Star Wars: Legion stock!
great show!!! happy weekender
Now i am starting to get abit agitated, how come Free doesn’t get an intro. Totally deserves it. Next to that, good to see new Bot Wars stuff and 02 Hundred, this looks like a nice set of miniatures, especially like the british civilians. As for the Justin Heroforge, looks like Ming the Merciless in his younger days going after Hawkmen, etc.
you make it and I’m sure Lloyd would use it
I hope you don’t stand by that comment.. although an updated tasty boys intro hmm..
best comment to win best box starter set and happy weekend!!
“Heroforge good for Stargrave” and I’m back on the site knocking up myself IN SPACE
At this point you could drop “anusol good for Stargrave” and I’d be window shopping.
I think Frostgrave and Stargrave are going to be responsible for a myriad of new miniatures getting snapped up heh
I got a bad feeling about this.
As if a lot of gamers screamed ‘mine’ …(or was that just @sundancer ? :))
IIITTTTttsssssss SHOw Time
Really interested in Lost Tales, particularly the rules set.
The figures are pretty “meh” but may be worth it just to have
a wide variety of minis for your rpg games. I know that most of
the time that I played, we never had any minis for the creatures.
I think Lost Tales could be an intriguing one for RP and miniatures gamers for sure
Commenting as Sundancer wants us to
Happy weekender!
Weekender alert, it’s back, another week flies by
Nnnnnnooooo Justin is C&C Kane!
I backed the first Blacklist miniatures ks, but as it’s very late and not left China yet, I’m not willing to back another of their kickstarters.
Also, I backed Mythic Battles Pantheon and also in for Ragnarok, so two big boxes of plastic not required right now, just the one.
Love the Avatars of War miniatures. Thanks for the tip! Also love the Star Wars Legion minis…
great new figures to drool over, love the show.
I’ve had good results with Hero Forge in creating The Expanse crew for Core Space (project here – https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1456954/ ). This was pre-colour options, but got a test print in regular and premium plastic before getting the rest of the models. Was happy with results and quality.
I was in on the 2.0 Kickstarter and was less impressed with the finish on the coloured versions as the 3 prints I’ve received seem slightly grainy.
It’s the Weekender!
This week’s prize is fantastic, the ‘STAR WARS Legion Core Set’ is chucked full of fun!
@brennon has selected some great minis for this week. ‘Avatars Of War’ have some really awesome designed sculpts.
BTW @brennon Harry Dresden’s cat is named ‘Mister’.
YES, Mister…man – can’t believe I forgot
Mister Man? does he know Mister Tickle and Mister Bump?
Great show. Now I might not only be getting Mythic battles for another KS….
Ragnarok is really looking good. But is it just more minis or did they make the game better?
Should be a LP soon so you can see the difference
In addition to some rules changes, I think they’re offering the upgrade pack, which rebalances it somewhat, for the original again if you missed it before.
Too many KS worth backing. Must’ve all been pushed from 2020. 😛
Amusing that i had come across Avatars of War for the first time (that i remember) earlier this week, currently on the hunt for dwarf miniatures that had the old warhammer fantasy styling, and Avatars were really good, was a bit gutted to go onto the website though and find that only the beserker troops are currently available, as the rangers and other units they have done in the past are great as well
yeah, I’m gutted I never got the rangers just never found the time to pick them up, I do have the Iron Breakers which is nice and I have given up on ever receiving the bronze and iron shields from the kickstarter failure.
But at least they’re still cracking away with the characters which is probably the best way to go
thanks Ben, for leaving that silly cowboy hat off of Harry!
I’d consider doing Ragnarok, but I still have all of Reichbusters to paint.
Aye, Dresden don’t wear no cowboy hat!
Been playing Ashes: reborn online. Just with the premade decks. Its a really good card game. And not a CCG so that’s always a bonus.
Indeed – they did a great job with Ashes but it feels like it flew under the radar of most people.
Ashes was a great game. I would look into Reborn but I’ve a feeling getting the cards from the US to the UK would be prohibitively expensive!
Digital is always an option, of course…
It’s also available in the UK. Seems to be about £40 for the base set then £12 for a deck. Not too pricey.
Interesting. I’ll have to keep my eyes open!
