Looks like the Lazy Squire minis are up to their usual standards.
Will definitely be looking forward to seeing whatever factions/starter sets end up being shown off as I’m a bit tepid on space marines after so many decades, no matter how fancy the armour
I am eager to see what aliens they do. That’ll be the kicker for me.
For definite: that’s really where the setting tends to hook me for sci-fi games.
I want to see the most gruesome and horrific models they can come up with.
Love me some body horror and it’s not like GW are giving the Tyranids much attention, plus Mantic haven’t really scratched that itch for me with their plague faction (bit too human for my tastes)
BEST! Hah!
Who was the little bloke in the Santa hat?
new intern
is santa here yet???? he needs to bring me the Greatest movie ever made. Happy weekend
you only need to buy Ben that Dwarven castle to get a golden button 😉
(or maybe send him yours 😀 )
it needs repairs, it lives at my brothers house. he has been wanting to give it to me. I need to make room, it is I think( with outer walls) around 6ft x 3ft
I think I’m the 13th comment… that’ll do me!
Welcome to the weekend everyone!
Blue giant minis. I have an embarrassment of riches from their days as Atlantis and oh my they’re good
I still have a large amount of their Dwarves to paint at some point in the future
Them dwarfs are lovely.
@brennon Kudos for the John Peter Bain “TotalBiscuit” reference. Almost 4 year now. God I miss that man’s enthusiasm. He did VO for a Lore Video on 40k… “Warhammer 40k Lore in a Minute!” Enjoy!

He was a great chap – loved his RPG sessions using the old Warhammer 40,000 rules too.
Mostly ogres and trolls here. I’ve dug out the werewolves for Silver Bayonet.
Replying to the wrong Ben post there. Send coffee ?
And his bantering during game release events like E3 or so… mostly I miss his honest reviews and the co-optional podcast…
Right now, shhhh, the weekenders about to start
I was showing some of the guys at my local store/club the Silver Bayonet videos and a few of us think it will make for a fun time. We just have to get some of those cool minis and start playing. Thanks for the coverage and the videos. It really helps to show games that I might not get a chance to discover.
Glad that it started you folks thinking about giving it a go. I think it’s a neat game to dive into, especially with such a low model count needed.
yeah, I must admit that initially the period/setting didn’t sound that interesting.
However after seeing those videos I know more about what it is and how it can be fun to play.
I do wonder what the author will do next … maybe something more modern ?
It is a very adaptable system with just enough tweaks to make them all unique/different.
Is it just me or does the silver bayonet game just scream out for the use of the old alternate armies Slaughterloo figures ?
Folks have been doing just that! There is a project we looked at a few weeks ago using the old miniatures.
There’s a project on here doing just that. Not mine, but I wish I’d thought of it. https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1695964/
Yoy for the weekender.
Well played Gerry for dropping in the Kid n Play reference!
perhaps the doors are made from nicked barrel lids @lloyd ?
finish your paints before you start the Spacemarine game @fcostin as you may well get addicted to killing Orks different ways.
It is very addictive stepping on Ork heads for a few hours.
Yes and satisfying to Ben.
the bunker does look good a fab show.
Happy Weekender everyone.
Also to Free, we want more Pascal #Freepascal
GW will hand over a licence to whoever gives them the cash, it’s just nice to see some larger videogame studios doing so, i really doubt GW pursues any of them, it’s just a big fat tabletop spider sitting in the middle of it’s web and waiting for something to bump into it
I’m with you Ben. Mobile is CRAP
You stream on Twitch or Youtube? Good to see Lloyd is still alive.
The terrain is amazing. I picked up some Monster Scenery recently for its durability.
